‘Stranger Things 3’ Trailer: We Now Know the Episode Titles for the Next Season
Though we’ve been waiting for well over a year, Netflix has finally thrown us a bone and given us new details about Season 3 of their acclaimed science-fiction horror series, Stranger Things. The Emmy Award-nominated series will return to the streaming service with all new episodes in 2019. Though we don’t have an exact release date just yet. Netflix gave us some pretty amazing details about what we can expect from the third season of Stranger Things.
Here’s are the episode titles for Season 3 and everything else we know.
Stranger Things Season 3 episode titles
The third season of Stranger Things is slated to have 8-episodes, which is the same amount as the first season, but one episode shorter than what we received for Season 2. In their new teaser for the third season, Netflix revealed all eight of the episode titles. There are as follows:
1. “Suzie, Do You Copy?”
2. “The Mall Rats”
3. “The Case of the Missing Life Guard”
4. “The Sauna Test”
5. “The Source”
6. “The Birthday”
7. “The Bite”
8. “The Battle of Starcourt”
Since the episode titles themselves don’t reveal much to the average Stranger Things fan, we had to do a bit of digging around to get some more details about Season 3.
When can we expect to see in Season 3 of Stranger Things? When will it premiere?
Though we don’t know a ton about what’s going to go down during the upcoming season of Stranger Things, we do know that it’s going to be set during the summer of 1985. Stranger Things creators Ross and Matt Duffer also revealed to The Verge that Starcourt Mall will play a central role in this season. Just glancing at the episode list, we’d say that Episode 2, “The Mall Rats” and Episode 8, “The Battle of Starcourt” — which will also serve as the Season 3 finale will be very significant for the overall story arch of Stranger Things and for its characters.
Since we didn’t get Season 3 of Stranger Things around Halloween like we did for the first two seasons, and a previous teaser suggested that Starcourt Mall is set to open in Hawkins “next Summer,” we’re just going to take a wild guess and say that we’ll be seeing our favorite pre-teens again sometime between Memorial Day and Labor Day in 2019, but most likely around July 4th.
We’d bet that we’re going to see Max, Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Will alongside Stranger Things newcomer Maya Hawke, who will play Robin in the third season battling new creatures from The Upside Down. To add to the excitement, Season 3 is set to take place the summer Robert Zemeckis’ Back to the Future premiered and sent the world into a science-fiction frenzy.
If you haven’t hopped on the Stranger Things bandwagon just yet, then here is the time to catch you. You can snuggle up during the holiday season and binger the first two seasons which are currently streaming on Netflix.
