Tamra Judge From ‘RHOC’ Is Surprised About Her Fallout With Emily Simpson

Before season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County debuted, Emily Simpson revealed she didn’t trust some of the other cast members.

Simpson shared on The Domenick Nati Show that she had a hard time trusting the “tres amigas,” made up of Shannon Beador, Vicki Gunvalson, and Tamra Judge. “The ‘tres amigas’ I think those three are just out for themselves. I don’t trust them as a group,” she said. “They stick together very tightly and don’t like to go outside their group. I would be leary of trying to infiltrate that group.”

She also said Beador, in particular, is very different on and off filming. However, Judge asserts that it is Simpson who is different on and off camera. She shared in a Bravo Insider digital short that she thought her relationship with Simpson was on solid ground when they finished filming. So she was surprised to learn Simpson was bashing her on social media.

They texted each other after filming wrapped

Simpson and Judge didn’t seem to have drama this season. Simpson sought Judge’s help too when she wanted to lose weight. But Judge says the two now don’t even speak. “I don’t talk to Emily,” she said. “We ended the season on very good terms. I thought we had made amends and we were doing well. We were texting after filming stopped. And then press started and she just started bashing me.”

Perhaps Judges is referring to the interview Simpson gave to Nati. But also Simpson has formed an alliance with Kelly Dodd and the two have been in a Twitter war with Judge, Beador, and Gunvalson. Beador likens the behavior to bullying. “She just can’t stop talking,” she told Hollywood Life. “She just can’t stop talking about this. I really don’t know what to say. She says that she feels bullied and attacked all the time. I feel like that’s what she’s doing.”

But Judge told the BravoCon audience that Simpson just doesn’t fit with the show.  “Emily [doesn’t fit with the cast]. There’s no real connection with her, and it’s been a real struggle. I’m not saying she’s a bad person. I think she’s a lovely person, but there’s got to be an organic connection. It’s been really hard to get to know her, so it’s hard to be friends with her.” During her Bravo Insider interview, Judge reiterated that this is the perfect example of not knowing who Simpson really is.

Simpson thinks Dodd is her only friend on the show

Even though Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter made up during the reunion, Simpson said Dodd is probably her only friend on the show at this point. “And I don’t even know why I’m not exactly sure what I did,” she says about being shunned. “That’s a mystery to me.”

“Well Gina I don’t understand because I feel like after we got through our big fights, I feel like we were in a good place the rest of the season filming,” Simpson says. “But I’m not sure where we’re at now. Vicki and I were fine last season. I really like Vicki.”

But Simpson still has an issue with the “tres amigas” and that Gunvalson was too invested in that group. Beador shares that she’s not on best terms with Dodd and her “new sidekick Emily.”
