Did Taylor Swift Just Reveal She’s Engaged In Her “ME!” Music Video?
After months of anticipation —Taylor Swift just dropped new music with her pastel-colored music video for her single, “ME!” and fans have literally lost their minds. The music video is a happy explosion of cats, glitter, and self-love. Swift has clearly moved on from her Reputation era, and she’s stepped into a brand new era that seems to be much more positive and fluffy.
Fans have already dissected the video from top to bottom, but there is one major question that the “ME!” video has raised. When the Red singer debuted the video, she said, “there’s a secret in the video I’ve been keeping for months—let’s see who can guess it.” Now fans are convinced that Swift is engaged to her actor/beau Joe Alwyn.

Swift and The Favourite actor have been hot and heavy for the past two years. However, unlike the Red singer’s past relationships –she and Alwyn have been extremely private and protective of their relationship. Though Swift attended the BAFTAs to support her British bae –she did not walk the red carpet with him.
Since they have allowed their love story to blossom out of the public eye –it looks like the singer and actor may be ready to take things to the next level. Earlier this year, a source close to the couple told US Weekly that Alwyn definitely wants to marry Swift.
The insider explained, “Joe wants to marry her, and she wants to marry him. He’s just waiting to find the perfect time to propose. He wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special.”
It’s possible that the British actor already popped the question.

There are several hints about Swift’s possible engagement in the “ME!” music video. In the video, Brendon Urie of Panic at the Disco proposes to Swift. There is also a quick snap of the Fearless songstress walking down a hallway wearing what appears to be an engagement ring on that finger. One fan tweeted, “@taylorswift13 i figured out the secret you’ve been hiding for months! YOURE ENGAGED!!! CONGRATULATIONS IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU”
However, not everyone is so convinced. “ME!” is also full of adorable kittens –so other fans believe that Swift adopted a new kitty. This Twitter user asked the real questions saying, “IS SHE ENGAGED OR DID SHE GET A KITTEN #ts7 #ME! #taylorswift”

We don’t know if Alwyn has already asked Swift to marry him, but we do know that the Fearless singer already has a particular design in mind. Though we’re sure the piece of jewelry will be rather costly (though perhaps not as expensive as J.Lo’s $1 million engagement ring from Arod) –Swift reportedly wants something classic and chic. A source explained to US Weekly, “She’d like something elegant and simple.”
