Teen Choice Awards Live Stream: How to Watch the Show Online

Teenagers around the country will select the best film, television, and music of the past year at tonight’s Teen Choice Awards. Live from Inglewood, California, the event will be hosted by Nick Cannon and Lele Pons, and it will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox. So what are the options for watching the show online?

Well, the easiest would be to do so either on Fox’s website or on the FOX Now app. That app is available on platforms like Roku and Apple TV. However, to use either of these services, you’re going to need a cable login, so this will only be useful if you already subscribe to cable or can borrow someone’s credentials for the night.

If that’s not an option, you’re not entirely out of luck. The next best way to watch the show would be via a cord-cutting service like Sling TV, which allows subscribers to stream live television on their computers or via an app. If you’re not a Sling subscriber, you can sign up for a seven-day free trial just for the purposes of watching tonight’s show. Just keep in mind that you’re going to have to put a credit or debit card on file and remember to cancel before the seven days or up. If you don’t, you’re going to be charged for a full month.

It’s also crucial that when you sign up for your free trial, you select either the Sling Blue plan or the Sling Orange + Blue plan. Just the regular Sling Orange package does not include Fox. If you intend to cancel after a week, you might as well sign up for the more expensive Sling Orange + Blue package; that one comes with every single available channel, so you can enjoy some other television throughout the week while your trial is still active.

If you don’t want to sign up for Sling, or perhaps you can’t sign up for their trial since you’ve already done so in the past, you can sign up for a trial of YouTube TV instead. This service also allows you to live stream television on your computer or on an app. The YouTube TV app is available on a variety of services like Roku, Apple TV, Xbox One, and more. Just keep in mind that the YouTube TV app is separate from the regular YouTube app.

Finally, another option would be to sign up for Hulu TV, which also includes Fox as part of its package and also offers a free trial. If you already subscribe to Hulu, this might be the easiest option, as you can just add it on to your existing account and you don’t have to sign up for a separate service and download anything else. Once again, though, make sure you don’t forget to cancel your trial after seven days or else Hulu will automatically upgrade you to this $39.99 per month plan.

The Teen Choice Awards are expected to last about two hours and end at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
