‘Teen Mom 2’: David Eason and Jenelle Evans are Back in Court Over their Children

It looks like its more bad news for the reality TV star who just can’t seem to get it together. Jenelle Evans and David Eason were in court once again to deal with their current custody woes, but it doesn’t look like any of the three children removed from their care will be heading back home. In fact, media outlets are reporting that Eason and Evans’ bid to have the judge removed from the case was thrown out today, meaning they’ll be dealing with the same judge from here on out. It looks like things are going to get rough.

What is going on with Jenelle’s court case?

Jenelle and David have appeared in court four times since their children were taken into protective custody. On Wednesday, May 22, the mother of three spent several hours on the stand. Allegedly, Evans is making a bid to have both Kaiser and Ensley removed from their current placement and moved to the custody of her friend, Katrina.

The judge, allegedly, was visibly annoyed with Evans and her lawyer on Wednesday, which makes what happened Friday all the more interesting. According to Reality Blurb, Jenelle’s lawyer requested that the judge recuse himself from the case. The North Carolina native’s lawyer alleged the Judge had a bias towards CPS but could not provide any proof of his allegations. The judge remains on the case.

Jenelle and David were seen leaving court a few hours after they arrived. Interestingly enough, they left separately, and David refused to speak with the media. The children are reportedly staying put for now. There is no word on when Evans and Eason will return to court.

Where are David and Jenelle’s children staying?

Before the shooting of the family dog, Jenelle and David had custody of three of their children. Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, lived in the home, along with Eason’s daughter, Maryssa and the daughter the pair share, Ensley. Jenelle’s eldest son, Jace, continues to reside with her mother, Barbara, after a years-long custody battle.

Kaiser, 4, was removed by CPS from his pre-school and handed off to his father’s family. Kaiser is now staying with Nathan Griffith, and, according to an inside source, he is doing well. Griffith and Jenelle have been battling over custody of Kaiser in recent months. Griffith has accused Eason of abusing his child several times in the past.

Maryssa, who is David’s daughter from a previous relationship, was dropped off at David’s mother’s home along with Ensley before CPS arrived to take the kids. CPS later approved the placement, and the children have been staying there since. There is no word on what the Easons are doing about Maryssa’s education. She was being homeschooled by David prior to the incident. Jace, now 9-years-old, will remain in the care of his grandmother.
