‘Teen Mom 2’: David Eason Continues to Make Lofty Claims Amid Divorce Proceedings
Jenelle Evans has left David Eason. Everyone knows that by now. The former Teen Mom 2 star allegedly fled to Tennessee shortly after announcing the couple’s separation. Since then, she’s gone on to file a restraining order against her soon-to-be ex, noting several instances of abuse. Evans has kept things relatively quiet on social media, while she cares for her two children in her new home. Eason, on the other hand, apparently has a ton of time on his hands and is using social media as an outlet for his frustration. Over the course of the last week, he’s made several pretty lofty claims on Facebook.
David took to Instagram to claim Jenelle was lazy
While Eason has not held a job since linking up with Evans several years ago, he’s been using the social media platform to accuse Evans of being lazy. Eason alleges that he couldn’t possibly have sought out gainful employment because he was too busy taking care of Evans. In fact, he claims he’s spent several years cleaning up after his wife of two years, according to In Touch.
Before getting involved with Evans, Eason was allegedly a welder. No one is exactly sure when or why he gave up the gig. In 2017, Eason became the primary caregiver for his 11-year-old daughter, Maryssa. He was granted primary custody of the pre-teen after an emergency custody order was issued. Maryssa had previously resided with her mother, Whitney Johnson. Eason and Johnson were married from 2006 to 2013.
Eason has now claimed he’s the only one who took care of Kaiser
Kaiser Griffith has been at the center of a custody battle for years. The child of Jenelle Evans and her former partner, Nathan Griffith, Kaiser was the first child removed from Evans’ care after Easons shot and killed the family dog in the spring of 2019. In Evans’ restraining order request she detailed several instances of abuse, some suffered by Kaiser, at the hands of Eason. The elder Griffith has long suggested that Eason was abusing the boy.
To hear Eason tell it, however, the story is much different. Eason recently claimed that he was the only one who took care of Kaiser, including changing diapers when he first met Evans. The former couple first hooked up in September 2015, after meeting on Tinder, according to Us Weekly. The relationship moved quickly, with the pair welcoming their first and only child together, Ensley, in January 2017. It’s unknown when Evans first introduced Eason to Kaiser but based on Evans’ past behavior, it was likely quickly. That means Eason was around Kaiser from the time he was about 18 months old.
David lashed out alleging he never loved Jenelle
While Evans and Eason are currently on the outs, he’s allegedly not taking it too hard. Eason took to Facebook to let his followers know he’s certainly not broken up over the demise of his marriage; in fact, he claims he’s much happier and much more peaceful now that Evans is out of the house. He took a low blow by suggesting he was never in love with Evans, and that his daughter is much better off without her, too.
Sources, however, claim that Eason is absolutely livid that Evans left him, and that she also left him with absolutely no money. Because Evans was the primary breadwinner in the relationship, her decision to leave the state has left Eason high and dry. No one is really sure where he’s currently pulling money from. His only source of income seems to be a knife forging business.
