‘Teen Mom 2’: Has Jenelle Evans Learned Anything From Her Custody Battle?
Jenelle Evans and David Eason have finally gained custody of two of their children back. The Teen Mom 2 reality star has had drama follow her from her very first days as a mother, and that drama caught up to when the children were removed from her care a few months ago.
Now that she has the children back, has she learned her lesson? Or is she doomed to repeat the same mistakes from her past?
Jenelle Evans was awarded custody of her kids
The children were removed from Evans’ home last May when rumors spread that her husband had shot the family dog. Eason says he did it because the dog had bitten their daughter, and he was trying to protect her.
But the courts decided they were unfit parents and removed 5-year-old Kaiser and 2-year-old Ensley. Evan’s 9-year-old son, Jace, has been living with his grandma most of his life, and so he already out of the home.
After a long court battle, Evans and Eason finally were able to have Kaiser and Ensley return home with them earlier this month.
Evans and Eason continue to share their life on social media
Although you would think that Evans would be wary of opening her life back up to the public after having her children removed, she seems to be following her old patterns. Evans recently posted an underwater photo of herself and son Kaiser, but then quickly changed her mind. After only a few minutes, the photo was deleted from her social media.
During the time the photo was posted, several fans had a chance to comment. While most of the comments were positive, a few pointed out that they thought Kaiser looked grumpy in the photo. Closer examination of the picture does reveal that Kaiser has a frown on his face, but this could simply be the result of trying to hold his breath underwater, and not necessarily an indication of how he feels to be home with mom.
Eason also joined in on the social media sharing with a video posted to his YouTube channel. The video is titled Meet Our New Puppies, Buddy and Junior. It’s a simple video, showing the chickens and other animals on their property. In the description, Eason explains that they have two new Anatolian Shepherd dogs to help protect their chickens and other livestock.
Has Evans learned anything?
Evans and Eason are still very eager to share their life on social media, even though this leaves them open to criticism and possible complaints to child services. Evans may make part of her income from social media, and considering that she lost her place with MTV, she probably needs the money, but she should be a little cautious when it comes to her kids.
Although they haven’t really done anything wrong yet, this kind of behavior is worrying to some. The new dogs have some worried that they will end up with the same fate as the one Eason may have killed a few months ago. Their family should be focusing on steering clear of drama in order to protect their kids at his point- not putting everything out for the world to see.
According to People, Evans says that she is eager to show America that she is a good parent, Maybe that is what is motivating her oversharing, but it’s probably not the best solution in the long run. We all just hope everything works out for this family, and that the children will be safe from now on.
