‘Teen Mom’ Fans Think Jenelle Evans Is Saying David Eason Didn’t Kill Nugget To Cover For Him

Authorities began investigating David Eason on May 1 after Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans called the police to report that her husband had killed their dog, Nugget, after it had bitten their two-year-old daughter’s face. She claimed she did not see the shooting herself. The incident resulted in Evans temporarily losing custody of her children and, ultimately, her getting fired from the network

Then on Thursday, according to popculture, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said Eason will not be facing charges after deputies found no evidence of Nugget’s murder. There were no weapons, no blood, nor “other evidence to confirm a dog was shot and killed at the home,” reports PEOPLE. After the search took place, Evans changed her story in a way that was inconsistent with her previous accusations. According to authorities, the reality star admitted to fabricating the entire incident for publicity.

“Jenelle advised that ‘She don’t know where the dog is.’ She also advised that ‘I don’t know if she was shot or killed or not,’” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “Jenelle stated that the reason she filed the animal cruelty report was for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was.”

Why would Jenelle Evans and David Eason lie about Nugget’s death?

After Evans came forward with her original story about Eason killing Nugget, Eason posted to Instagram defending his actions:

“You can hate me all you want,” he wrote. “But this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

His account has since been deleted.

Evans also posted to her social accounts detailing how heartbroken she was over Nugget’s death.

Just last week Evans responded to an Instagrammer’s question on her stories about her decision to stay with Eason after the “dog incident.”

“Honestly yes, we were on bad terms for almost a week,” she replied. “Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me. Now that we are getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”

If Nugget’s murder was a lie, the couple certainly went to great lengths to make it appear true. But why would they fabricate a story that would cost them the custody of their children and their main source of revenue: Teen Mom?

Fans think Jenelle Evans is protecting David Eason

Teen Mom fans seem to be tired of Jenelle Evans drama.

“Stop trying to make your Instagram a reality show. You’re a train wreck. Grow up jenelle. Stop using your family problems to keep yourself relevant,” commented one fan.

But, mostly, fans just want to know what happened to Nugget.

“Where is Nuggets body Janelle? How can you keep lying for this man? Who or what will be his next victim in that house? This is crazy Janelle. You need to wake up,” commented another.
