‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham Explains Why People Are Broke
Former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has a few thoughts to share about money in her latest docu-comedy series. She took time to give her advice on how not to be broke and why some people don’t have any money.
Farrah Abraham says she has the right to break her expensive items because she works hard
In her fifth docu-comedy video, Abraham says she likes luxury. She also says she doesn’t really care if she breaks one of her luxury items because she works hard, so it doesn’t matter. Apparently, she earns enough money to replace whatever she breaks. Here’s what Abraham said about the matter: “I do like quality cars; I do like luxury cars. Just like I like Fendi and Louis Vuitton glasses and then I break them. That’s my life and that’s my choice. And that’s why I work hard. Let me live a little; let me break some luxurious things. Whatever.”
Farrah Abraham says she’s a mom who likes to save money
In the third installment of her doc-comedy YouTube series, Abraham complained because her local DMV doesn’t accept credit cards. This is a problem for her because she says she likes to rack up credit card points. Abraham calls herself a “super points mom.” She said she would rather take a vacation she doesn’t have to pay for. “Some people are super bargain mom, but I am like super points mom. Point me to a vacation that I don’t have to pay for. [I] love points,” said Abraham.
In a separate video, Abraham said she loves people who try to save money by getting deals. She also said she has her “bargain mom” moments. “I love people who bargain, I love eco, people who are conscious of saving food and sharing it with others.”
Farrah Abraham explains why people are broke
Why are so many people broke? Abraham says part of the reason people can’t keep money in their pockets is because they’re lazy. She also says poor time management and a “broke mentality” contribute to a lack of financial security. Here’s what Abraham said about broke people:
Me being a mom and a dad, I just don’t entertain laziness. I’m working until 12 o’clock at night. What are you guys doing? Partying and thinking you’re working? When some people take a week to send me back headshots… Some people can’t get some little thing sent, and then they want to add to my weekend. They want to actually take away time from my weekend, and not plan appropriately. This is why they’re not successful, and this is why they’re all broke. I would say on top of all the broke mentality that I deal with, I’ve noticed that the one thing I can count on to not be broke is myself and my ethic and keeping other people in line.
