The 1 Reason Why Kourtney Kardashian’s Cosmetics Line May Be More Popular Than Kylie Jenner’s

It seems like everyone from the Kardashian/Jenner family wants in on the success of launching a cosmetics line. Kylie Jenner may be the youngest sister of the group, but her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, has paved the way for her siblings. Kim Kardashian has since launched KKW Beauty. Even Khloé Kardashian has recently submitted applications for “KOKO Kollection by Khloé Kardashian.”

Kourtney Kardashian may not be the first member of her family to launch a beauty line, but hers could potentially be the most successful — here’s why.

It could be a makeup line, skincare line, or both

Kourtney will be launching a beauty line called “Kourt,” and fans are getting seriously excited about its release. She hasn’t yet announced the details of the line, but it could be a makeup line, skincare line, or possibly a combination of both.

Either way, Kourtney’s love for all things organic definitely leads us to believe she’ll be going the eco-friendly route.

Next: She already has this crucial experience.

She has past experience in working with a skincare line

Kourtney already has some experience up her sleeve in working with a skincare line. In 2016, she was named a global ambassador for Manuka Doctor, which is a natural line of products containing Manuka honey and bee venom.

She’s raved of their products, “I really liked the ingredients, and I love that the products are available at a lower price point. All around, I felt that it fit in with my lifestyle. That’s really what drew me to the brand.”

She continued, “I love to use as natural skin-care products as I can. When I use harsh products, my skin breaks out. It’s really something I can feel good about believing in and using.”

Next: She definitely has this trademark style.

She’s all about natural beauty

We’re hopeful that Kourtney will bring everything she loves about Manuka Doctor over to her own brand. Considering the line will literally have her own name on it, she’ll probably want to make sure her products are “something [she] can feel good about believing in and using,” too.

While the majority of the Kardashian/Jenner clan leans toward dramatic makeup looks, Kourtney is known for a more subtle, natural aesthetic. Whether her cosmetics line features makeup or skincare products, we’re guessing it will be all about enhancing your natural beauty.

Next: Here’s the main really why her line may be more successful than Kylie’s.

She’ll likely attract a wider customer base than Kylie’s line does

If Kourtney’s beauty line reflects her own makeup preferences, she’ll likely attract a pretty wide customer base. That “lower price point” that she loves about Manuka Doctor wouldn’t hurt, either. Whether you’re crazy about eco-friendly products, keeping your skin healthy, or emphasizing your looks more naturally, it seems like she’ll have something for you.

While makeup enthusiasts can’t get enough of Kylie’s makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, her products may be a little too dramatic for some customers. The products are definitely high-quality, but the price tags are a little too high to just try out — especially if you aren’t already a makeup guru.

Next: She’s already making these smart business moves.

She trademarked the name ‘Kourt’ under her company

Kourtney will be releasing the line under her personal company, 2DIE4KOURT. She’s even going so far as to trademark the name “Kourt” for her cosmetics, which was reportedly filed under the goods and services category.

As Teen Vogue pointed out, “Kylie’s Kylighter trademark was how we found out she was launching her own highlighters, so we’d like to assume that’s what’s happening here.”

Next: Here are the hints she’s dropping about the new line.

She shared Kourt logo options on her Instagram story

The news of Kourtney’s cosmetics line broke after she shared this photo to her Instagram story. She’s clearly testing out a number of logo options for Kourt, but another detail caught our attention.

A Kylie Cosmetics pen and pad of paper were perfectly posed in the photo, leading us to believe she’s definitely sending a message. Is she simply pointing toward creating her own cosmetics line? Will Kourt team up with Kylie Cosmetics? Only time will tell.

When a fan was watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she somehow noticed a very subtle detail that could actually be a major clue. Thanks to this hint, we’re wondering if Kourtney could simply be trademarking Kourt for a line of products under Kylie Cosmetics. If you squint or zoom in on this photo, you can see Kourtney’s name inscribed on the tube of clear lip gloss. Maybe the product was left there accidentally, but we’re willing to bet they angled it just-so on purpose.

Either way, we’re excited to see what she comes up with. Whether it’s under Kylie Cosmetics or her own line of products, natural beauty will surely be the main focus — which we can definitely get behind.
