The 1 Thing Meghan Markle Won’t Do at Her Bachelorette Party

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding is rapidly approaching which means that preparations are in full swing. With so much media attention on the royal couple’s big day, everyone wants to know what the couple’s bachelor and bachelorette parties will look like.

The recently engaged couple have done their best to keep their relationship as private as possible, but we do know that they are planning to break several royal traditions on their wedding day. Markle is making some interesting choices regarding her wedding cake and guest list. Rumor has it that the Suits alum is also planning an epic bachelorette party. Though the 36-year-old is having a night out before she ties the knot, there is one thing that won’t happen at her soiree.

A not-so-wild night

With all eyes turned toward Markle, we’re certain she’s not going to give the press an opportunity to try and take any stabs at her character.

A source told Us Weekly, “Meghan will be having a party but won’t be calling it her ‘bachelorette.’ Think low-key, think somewhere out of London, good food and drink, a little music. It won’t be wild.”

Markle has a large group of friends, both male, and female, so this won’t be an all-girls night, which we think is pretty epic.

A close friend of Markle’s told Us Weekly, “Expect to see the usual faces with [her] best friends Markus Anderson, Lindsay Jill Roth, and Jessica Mulroney taking top seats at the table.”

A celebration of friendship and love

In their BBC interview shortly after announcing their engagement, Markle and Prince Harry confirmed that a mutual friend introduced them. Though the couple did not confirm the identity of their friend, rumor has it that it was fashion designer Misha Nonoo.

To celebrate her upcoming marriage and the friends who have always been there for her, Markle’s bachelorette night will be all about friendship and love. Unfortunately, her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, will probably be too far along in her pregnancy to attend the fun night out.

When our friends have bachelor and bachelorette parties to celebrate their final days as single folks, we often give them gifts. Markle won’t be accepting any of those at her gathering. She and the prince won’t even have a wedding registry.

According to a palace insider, “Meghan and Prince Harry won’t have a bridal registry, as they want to encourage friends, family, and well-wishers to donate anonymously to a charity gift fund.”

Doing things her way

From having her mother walk her down the aisle to taking a hands-on approach to planning her wedding day, Markle is already making it clear that she’s going to be doing the whole royal thing her way.

A source told US Weekly, “With the wedding, [Markle and Prince Harry] both want to do things their way. While they will always be mindful of traditions, the day is ultimately about them and what they want to do. Don’t expect a royal wedding by numbers. For them, it’s about keeping it personal.”

Prince Harry has been known to get a little wild, so we doubt he’s going to shun having a bachelor party altogether.

The Daily Star is reporting,”Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have offered their £13-million Chalet Helora to Harry and his friends. Unlike Meghan’s party, it will probably be an all-boys affair that will include his pals Guy Pelly, Thomas van Straubenzee, George Stoy, and presumably his brother, Prince William.”

Even if Markle did plan on doing a lot of drinking and dancing as in a traditional bachelorette night, we would never know. After all, the former actress erased all of her social media accounts shortly after announcing her engagement, and we doubt her friends will be putting any evidence on the internet.

We’re still crossing our fingers that the wedding will be televised though.
