The 1 Thing Tom Brady Looks Forward to Most After a Super Bowl Win

Tom Brady is no stranger to Super Bowl victories. In February 2019, he captured his sixth Super Bowl win when the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in what several people are calling the most uneventful Super Bowl they can remember. While not much happened during the game, The Patriots were eventually able to slide past the rams and score a touchdown — the only touchdown — that would give them the win. While Brady is happy to add another ring to his collection, he’s even happier about one thing post-season.

Brady has won six Super Bowl titles

No quarterback has won as many titles as Tom Brady. He’s won so many times that it’s probably getting old for him now — do his kids even know what it’s like for someone to not end the season with a Super Bowl victory? Realistically, Brady didn’t have a great game to win this past championship, but he did have one touchdown drive in the fourth quarter, which took the game from a late tie to an almost guaranteed Patriots victory. Brady officially became the oldest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl, and it wasn’t his first — it was his sixth. He now has more rings than he can even fit on one hand.

His family supports him every time the team makes it to the Super Bowl

Brady’s all-time supporters are none-other than his family. The day before the game, his wife Gisele Bündchen posted a photo on her Instagram with Brady and captioned it, “I got your back!” She later posted a photo of their daughter, Vivian, wearing Brady’s jersey and staring at the field. The family has always been massively supportive of Brady’s job, and Bündchen notoriously goes crazy every time her man helps bring in another touchdown. Some have even said that Bündchen gets more excited for the Super Bowl than her husband.

He said he’s looking most forward to spending time with his wife and children after the season

In an interview after his sixth win, Brady said he’s most looking forward to spending time with his family now that the season is over. He told CBS that he wouldn’t be where he is without his family’s support, and he’s excited to have some more time with them. Brady is the father of three children; a son and daughter with Bündchen and a son with former girlfriend Bridget Moynihan.

Brady has said he’s not ready to retire yet

Despite winning that sixth title and essentially being the greatest quarterback the NFL has ever seen, Brady said he’s not ready to retire–yet. Brady has said in the past that he wants to play until he’s 45, and he told CBS that this sixth win doesn’t change anything as far as those plans. While there’s still time for him to change his mind, nobody would be surprised if he was still on the field at 45. As long as Brady keeps playing and Bill Belichick keeps coaching, it’s very possible the Patriots will see even more Super Bowl victories down the road.
