Last year was a great year for television. The best new shows of 2015, such as Master of Nonehad great story telling, and added more diversity to TV. But what popular shows were killing it in the ratings? These 10 shows are ratings giants that seem almost unstoppable, and are the reason they are making it past 10 and even 20 seasons!

The television adaptation is still going very strong, and is starting to surpass the novels. The war between all of the houses for the iron throne has been captivating as well as award winning. The show was nominated for best television drama at this year’s Golden Globes. It also broke its own viewership record. According to Neilsen, the show’s finale averaged  a 4.1 rating which is about 5.2 million of its 8.1 million.

Although the show is always in the conversation online it is regularly beaten in views by primetime television. Of course this could be due to accessibility since the show is on HBO.
