How did Cameron Diaz meet Benji Madden
Diaz and Madden had first briefly met back in 2004 when she was dating Justin Timberlake. They were both attending an NSYNC charity basketball game. They seemed to be friendly with each other, but they never really talked that much or got to know each other very well.
Then, one day in 2014, Diaz decided to throw a dinner party at her house. Two of the guests that she invited included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, whom she had been friends with for years. According to E! News, Joel had asked Diaz if he could invite his twin brother, Benji, over. She had said yes, and it’s a good thing that she did.
She talked to a local radio show about being formally introduced to meeting Benji for the first time. In the interview, she had said: “Then I saw him again. [I thought], Wait for a second, still hot!”
After that, the two started dating but had kept their relationship very private. There were several fans that weren’t even aware that they were dating until they had confirmed their engagement in December 2014.
Although they didn’t have a very long courtship before they had gotten engaged, Diaz said that she had plenty of time to realize that Madden was the one for her.
“It was one of those things where everyone tells you, ‘You just know when you know.’ I was like, ‘What does that mean? Oh, I get it,” Cameron revealed. “You just know when you know. Like you’re my husband.”

On January 5, 2015, Diaz and Madden officially became husband and wife. According to E! News, the two got married in a small, last-minute ceremony at in Cameron’s living room of her Beverly Hills home. There were only around 100 guests at the wedding. After the couple said their “I do’s” the wedding party moved outside to a lavish tent in her backyard.
Today the couple has been married for four years and they seem happier than ever. They are still a very private couple, but every time that they are seen together, you can tell from the look in their eyes that they are still head-over-heels in love with each other.
