‘The Bachelor’: Chris Harrison Doesn’t Know Why Peter Weber Thinks His Season Can’t be Spoiled

Normally before each season of The Bachelor even premieres, people know who wins. Outlets like Reality Steve and other spoiler sites take pride in revealing who the winner of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette is long before fans can even start guessing. So far, Peter Weber’s season has yet to be spoiled. Weber is down to his final three women, Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Victoria Fuller and no one knows for sure who wins. Weber has been confident that no one will find out until the episode airs. Host Chris Harrison, on the other hand, isn’t so sure.

Peter Weber says no one can spoil his season

Reality Steve has been in the spoiling business for years. So, there is no doubt that he has a number of sources who give him information about who goes home each week and who ultimately wins the entire season. But Weber has said time and time again that he is sure Reality Steve and other outlets won’t find anything out before it’s time.

“I’m really excited for this season because I’m very confident that no one is going to be able to spoil it,” Weber told The Hollywood Reporter ahead of his season. “There’s a reason I believe that — and obviously I can’t say it, otherwise it gives it away. I’m very confident that Reality Steve and all of these people, they’re not going to find out what happens — there’s no way they’re going to find out. And I’m very excited about that because I think that’s what this show has wanted for a while and I’m excited that for my season there’s a really good chance that happens. And I’m excited for everyone to just come along for the journey and not know what happens at the end, and just be able to live it out with me.”

What does Chris Harrison think?

Harrison is no newbie to the Bachelor rodeo. He’s used to the show getting spoiled so he isn’t behind Weber’s lofty claims.

“First of all, he’s new at this, so you can’t make a claim like that,” Harrison told Entertainment Tonight. “But I know what he’s actually talking about, which is, it’s a wild finish. It is a season that got turned on its head and is an emotional, dramatic finish.”

And other Bachelor execs feel the same way.

“I’m happy he’s confident,” Bachelor executive producer Martin Hilton told the outlet. “In all my years of doing it, it’s always somehow been spoiled.”

“For me, it’s actually sometimes free publicity, honestly,” he continued. “Because I think people watch anyway, and the same way you know how a Disney movie is going to end when you start watching it, people still watch it, because you want to see the journey. So, that’s what we really focus on. And if we were to get upset about spoilers, then I’d be upset all day long.”

Theories about Peter Weber’s ending

The previews for the ending of Weber’s season have shown that there is a major twist at the end. Since the previews started airing, fans have been trying to figure out what that twist could be. Some think Weber might end up with one of the producers of the show and others are betting money that Hannah Brown shows back up and wins Weber in the end. None of these theories have been confirmed or denied.
