‘The Bachelor’: Colton Underwood Tells Hannah Brown to Stay Away From Windmills After Her ‘DWTS’ Win

Say what you want, but Hannah Brown has had a whirlwind year. At the start of 2019, Brown was introduced to audiences on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. She then won over Bachelor Nation as The Bachelorette. But when things didn’t exactly work out in the love department, Brown became a fan-favorite on Dancing With the Stars and she ended up winning the whole competition. Now, Underwood has opened up about Brown’s DWTS win. And quite frankly, Underwood’s comments to Brown show we’ve finally come full circle.

‘The Bachelor’s Colton Underwood supports Hannah Brown’s ‘DWTS’ win

On Nov. 5, DWTS announced Brown won the Mirrorball Trophy at the live finale. Then a day later, Underwood offered his support for Brown’s win on Instagram.

“A day late & a dollar short but congrats Hannah B!” Underwood wrote.

The Bachelor alum also told Brown to stay away from the madness of reality television — namely The Bachelor franchise and Dancing With the Stars.

“Now get some much deserved rest by staying away from limos, roses, dance floors and windmills,” Underwood joked. “You’ve had a killer year!”

Meanwhile, Brown also responded to Underwood’s Instagram post. “Thank you Colton. I’ll do my best!” Brown said, according to Us Weekly.

At this point, everyone knows the importance of limos and roses in The Bachelor franchise. However, some may not remember the significance of windmills.

During Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, she openly admitted she hooked up with Peter Weber — the new lead of The Bachelor — four times in a windmill. And given ABC chose to feature a windmill in Weber’s promo video, it seems the network won’t let Bachelor Nation forget about the moment.

“I just feel like I’m never gonna live that windmill down — and neither is he,” Brown told Variety on Nov. 26. “The windmill is a symbol in Bachelor Nation.”

Hannah Brown will appear on Peter Weber’s season of ‘The Bachelor’

Regardless of Underwood’s remarks to Brown, it seems the Bachelorette alum isn’t done with Bachelor Nation just yet. And as it turns out, Brown will be on Weber’s season of The Bachelor, according to the promo trailer.

In the preview, Brown shows up unannounced on Weber’s season. And of course, everyone is shocked. “I’m so confused right now,” Weber says. “What are you doing here?”

The clip then jumps to Brown, making it seem like she wants to get back with the new bachelor. “Making decisions for my heart,” she says. “Because I know there’s still something there, and I would do anything for a relationship.”

Weber also seemingly asks Brown to join the cast of The Bachelor. “What I’m about to say is extremely crazy,” he says. “What would you say if I asked you to come be part of the house?”

Nevertheless, it’s more than likely the dramatic surprise is a red herring and it’s possible Brown doesn’t stay on Weber’s season of The Bachelor. Remember she just spent 11 weeks filming Dancing With the Stars, leaving her little time to film The Bachelor.

“My heart has been completely focused on my Dancing With the Stars experience, and I had to give a lot of myself [to the competition],” Brown told Variety in the above interview. “Doing Dancing With the Stars is a full commitment, so that has been the relationship that I’ve been in — with the dance studio and just working my butt off. But, as far as anything else, I can’t really say much more.”
