‘The Bachelor’: Did Colton Underwood Reveal His Timeline to Propose to Cassie Randolph?
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph are continuing their relationship after The Bachelor. Although they didn’t get engaged on the show, they have been talking about the possibility of it happening in the future. Did Underwood reveal his proposal timeline? Here is everything you need to know.
Cassie Randolph previously quit The Bachelor because she didn’t want to get engaged
The Bachelor ended on a very dramatic note because Cassie Randolph made it into the final three remaining women. However, she decided to quit because she wasn’t ready for a proposal.
Underwood decided to send the other two women home and asked Randolph to continue dating. It worked, but fans noticed after the finale that the reality star was still talking about getting engaged. He posted on Instagram about their relationship and referred to Randolph as his future wife.
“I have my best friend. I have my girlfriend. I have my future fiancé. I have my future wife. But most importantly I have you. Let’s do this thing they call life… together… forever,” he wrote in the caption of a picture of them together.
That was pretty clear evidence that the reality star still had engagement on the brain. He has also gotten some help in the ring department.
Underwood got a Neil Lane ring for Randolph and showed it on
Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The former football player didn’t propose to anyone on The Bachelor, but he got a second chance. Jimmy Kimmel asked Neil Lane to offer Underwood a ring. He got a double halo square cut ring.
It turns out, Randolph wasn’t a fan of the design. Underwood defended himself saying he didn’t actually pick out the ring. In the future, they are going to go with another design that is more fitting to Randolph’s taste.
“I just have a particular idea in my mind,” Randolph said on Lady Gang. Fans will have to wait to see what ring will actually be used, but when do they plan to get engaged?
Underwood said he could see them being engaged within the next year
The couple said that they are currently taking their time having a normal life after the show. However, they might take a big step next year.
“I think, right now, at this point in our relationship, we’re enjoying this, trying to be as normal as possible,” Underwood told Entertainment Tonight. “But you know, we’ve talked about our engagement and talked about taking the next step in our relationship and [decided] one thing at a time.”
He then added, “Honestly, if I was a betting man I would say it would happen within the next year, yes.”
It should be interesting to see what next year will be like for the couple. Perhaps it will mean and engagement and wedding planning.
