‘The Bachelor’: Does Kelley Flanagan Still Talk to Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss?
Not many people are friends with women who have dated their partners. But in the world of The Bachelor, those lines often get blurred. Even after all dating the same man, the women who live in the Bachelor mansion typically end up becoming friends.
But Peter Weber’s season was a bit messier than a usual season. Instead of ending up with his final pick, Hannah Ann Sluss, he went back to his runner-up Madison Prewett before ultimately ending up with contestant Kelley Flanagan. Were the girls still able to maintain a friendship after all of Weber’s back and forth?
What really happened between Peter Weber and Madison Prewett?
This season of The Bachelor, Weber had a tough time making decisions. At the end of his season, he got engaged to Sluss. But later, he broke it off and got back together with Prewett at the After the Final Rose reunion. Though they were presented to the audience as a couple, Weber is now saying he and Prewett never actually got back together.
“To be straight up… we didn’t even get in a relationship again,” Weber told Entertainment Tonight. “I know they say, ‘Oh it’s 24 or 48 hours. That was the shortest relationship ever!’ We never committed to a relationship.”
In reality, all they did was talk after the reunion.
“That’s what occurred in the next couple of days, and we went our own separate ways,” he said. “I don’t look back, she doesn’t look back — but I think some people think that we got back together. We never were back together.”
Does Kelley still talk to Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett?
During the season, Prewett and Flanagan were really good friends.
“We were best friends actually,” Prewett said on the Off The Vine podcast. “We were inseparable throughout the entire process, everyone joked we were the dynamic duo. Really leaned on each other through that entire thing… I remember even when I landed from Australia and got home she was one of the first people that I called. She was in group messages with me and my family. We were really really close and talked 24/7,” she said.
But after all of the drama with Weber flip-flopping, the two stopped talking.
“I was actually really close with both [Sluss and Prewett] on the show,” Flanagan told the outlet. But now she is closer to Mykenna Dorn and Kelsey Weier. “That’s fine. There’s nothing wrong with that. I have no ill will toward Madison. I think she’s a great girl. It’s just this whole, the whole situation is like, awkward and that sucks.”
She has talked to Sluss more recently, but the two don’t keep in touch much, either.
“I was in communication with Hannah Ann [when Weber came to Chicago], and because her and I were texting, I gave her a call and told her exactly what happened. She said, ‘That’s fine, thank you so much for calling me. I really respect you and our friendship — the fact that you’re willing to call me and tell me this.’ Her and I were fine,” she said.
