‘The Bachelor’: Is Caelynn Miller-Keyes Waiting for Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood to Break Up?
Most people who have watched The Bachelor have noticed the weird, incestuous nature of the show. Between the cast of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, everyone ends up dating each other. Which would be fine if they weren’t all friends, as well.
Let’s break it down. On The Bachelor, 30 girls move into a mansion in the hopes of winning the affections of one guy. Those girls have nothing to do but wait around for said guy to allow them to leave the house, so naturally, some of them become friends with one another. One girl eventually goes on to get engaged to the lead, but she typically remains friends with all of the girls that she met in the house, who have now dated her fiance.
But no case of this is more strange than the three-way relationship between Caelynn Miller Keyes, Colton Underwood, and Cassie Randolph.
The relationship between Randolph, Underwood, and Miller-Keyes
Randolph and Miller-Keyes became quick friends while competing for Underwood’s heart. Their relationship was expedited when the other girls on the show ganged up and accused them of both wanting to become the next Bachelorette.
Ultimately, Miller-Keyes was sent home after making it to the top four. Underwood didn’t end up proposing to Randolph, but the two are currently in what seems like a happy relationship.
Is Miller-Keyes trying to get Underwood back?
You know the saying, “keep your friends close and your enemies closer?” That could be what has happened with Miller-Keyes. She is always around Randolph and Underwood.
Miller-Keyes even lives in the same apartment complex as Underwood and Randolph. Could she be just lying in wait for things to go awry with the happy couple so she can pick up the pieces?
“Now, Colton’s always at Cassie’s, and we live two floors apart, and he’s really become this big brother,” Miller-Keyes told Cosmo.
The former beauty queen claims that her relationship with Underwood has completely changed, despite wanting to spend the rest of her life with him just a few months ago.
“People are taken aback and weirded out by that, but our relationship has truly changed,” she continued. “He’s always giving me advice, setting me up on dates. It’s so fun [living so close to Cassie]. When we need outfit help, we run up or run down — share clothes. It feels like we’re on the Bachelor again. [Laughs.] It’s a mini Bachelor mansion.”
What do other ‘Bachelor’ stars think?
Some members of Bachelor nation seem to think this three-way brother/sister relationship is just as weird as the rest of us.
“That is insane!” Demi Burnett, who was also a contestant on Underwood’s season, told Entertainment Tonight of Underwood and Miller-Keyes relationship.
But she does think that the girls are genuinely trying to be there for one another and there are no ulterior motives.
“For their situation, it’s difficult, because they are such close friends that they realize that they had to come to some kind of agreement where they could all be friends and hang out,” she said. “I know Caelynn wants Cassie to be happy and vice versa, and it’s kind of weird and crazy. I think it is true and genuine, and she’s happy for her girl and they have to get along.”
