‘The Bachelor’: Is Tia Booth a Threat to Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood’s Relationship?
Though the franchise would probably like you to forget it, the relationships on The Bachelor are a bit incestuous. First, the lead starts out with 20-30 people to choose from to date. All of those people live in a house together and develop friendships while dating the same person.
And then after they leave the mansion, they connect with each other on social media or go on to date on Bachelor in Paradise, and everyone ends up dating everyone or becoming friends with someone who has dated the same person they have. The whole thing is confusing.
This was pretty much what happened with Tia Booth and Colton Underwood.
Booth and Underwood’s relationship
Booth and Becca Kufrin both appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. Before Kufrin began filming her season of The Bachelorette, Booth and Underwood started messaging each other on social media and went on a few dates.
Ultimately, Underwood’s fling with Booth was what caused Kufrin to doubt if her connection with Underwood was strong enough.
After leaving The Bachelorette, Underwood went on Bachelor in Paradise and gave him and Booth’s relationship one more chance. In the end, Underwood just couldn’t muster the feelings for Booth that he needed to stay on the show.
Underwood and Cassie Randolph’s relationship
After leaving Bachelor in Paradise, Underwood went on to be the Bachelor. While there, he fell in love with Cassie Randolph and the two have been dating happily ever since the show ended and trying to adjust to life together.
“We are trying to do everything as normal as possible,” Underwood recently told Extra. “I don’t think you realize how many important steps you miss in the Bachelor process, which is nothing against them. We want to make sure we do this the right way. Statistically speaking, for Bachelors, it’s not very good odds, so I think us going against what other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples have done is probably going to work out in our favor.”
“We both feel like … living our separate lives but still coming together at the end of the day is what’s most important for us and what’s the right step for where we’re at in our relationship.”
Is Booth a threat to Underwood’s relationship?
Since she is also a member of Bachelor Nation, Booth will always be around Underwood and Randolph, but the star claims that she doesn’t have romantic feelings for Underwood anymore.
“I’ll always love him,” she told Us Weekly in February. “I think he’ll always love me, just in a friendly way.”
And the two have even been thinking about double dating now that they are both in relationships.
“I actually spoke to Tia about [double dating],” Underwood told Us Weekly recently. “We’re supposed to be going out to Nashville for a week during CMA Fest, so we’re probably going to link up with her and Cory [Cooper]. … I consider Tia a good friend of mine.”
