‘The Bachelor’: Madison and Peter Did Not Appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ or ‘GMA’

From the start, the most recent season of The Bachelor has been different. Now that the season is over, that still holds true. Typically, at the end of the season, the lead of the show is interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Good Morning America. However, Peter Weber and Madison Prewett did not appear on either show after The Bachelor ended.

How the season of ‘The Bachelor’ ended

To summarize, the finale of Weber’s season of The Bachelor was dramatic. After Prewett self-eliminated, Weber proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss. However, they broke up shortly after getting engaged. Chris Harrison flew out to Auburn to visit Prewett. She then revealed she regretted her decision to leave the show and still had feelings for Weber.

So, Prewett flew out to California to visit Weber. They reconnected, and while they did not see each other again after that meeting, they did begin talking. During the live taping, Prewett joined Weber onstage. The two admitted they still loved each other and that they wanted to give their relationship another try.

Weber acknowledged it would be an uphill battle given the situation, but he loved Prewett and felt it was worth it to try again. This did not sit well with his mother who repeatedly clashed with her son and Prewett. She insisted multiple times she preferred Sluss, and that everyone in her son’s life knew the relationship with Prewett will not work out.

The reunion ended with tension and things still left up in the air. Harrison told the couple he knew they had a long road ahead of them, but he truly hoped it would work out for them. While it’s known that Prewett and Weber still love each other, the exact nature of their relationship is unclear.

Fans noticed Madison and Peter did not do normal press

As soon as the finale ended, fans noticed that Weber and Prewett did not appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Even after Hannah Brown ended up single after her season of The Bachelorette, she still appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! On March 11, Weber did not appear on Good Morning America by himself or with Prewett.

“Am I the only one who noticed that unlike every other season of this show, GMA and Jimmy Kimmel don’t have Peter Weber listed as a guest tonight or tomorrow morning? The Bachelor always appears on at least those two shows after the Finale/ATFR. He’s listed on none that I see,” one fan tweeted.

“So…does this mean Peter isn’t going on Jimmy Kimmel or GMA? I say we let Barb and Peter Sr. take his place #TheBachelor,” joked a Twitter user.

“Anyone gunna discuss why Peter isn’t on @GMA ??? @BachelorABC#TheBachelor,” wrote a fan on Twitter.

Peter and Madison have not posted about each other on social media

Instead of Weber appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host simply recapped the finale. The same thing happened on Good Morning America. Prewett and Weber are also extremely quiet on social media after the finale of The Bachelor.

In the past, the lead of the show typically writes a heartfelt post about their experience on Instagram. If they ended the show engaged or in a relationship, their partner writes a post as well and they share videos and pictures of their day doing press.

So far, Prewett and Weber have not posted anything on Instagram since the finale ended. This is perhaps because the two are not a solidified couple yet. While they expressed their feelings for one another, it did not seem definite the two were jumping right back into a serious relationship.
