‘The Bachelor’: Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally Made a Hilarious Guest Appearance on the Show

Bachelor contestants are often treated to celebrity guest appearances. But this Hollywood power couple is probably one of the funniest. Season 23 Bachelor star Colton Underwood and his bevy of potential paramours were recently treated to an appearance from funny pair Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman.

Some people may not have realized how long Mullally and Offerman have been together. But if laughter is the key to a happy marriage, then it’s clear that these two will last forever. They had some great advice for Underwood and the women on what it takes to go the distance in love.

How long have Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman been together?

Parks and Recreation alumni Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, who is best known for her role as Karen Walker on Will and Grace, have been married for 15 years and are clearly still in love. They just released a romance book about their love story called, “The Greatest Love Story Ever Told: An Oral History.”

The pair recently celebrated their fifteenth wedding anniversary with Offerman gifting Mullally with the traditional present of crystal. Except instead of glassware, he explained how he had Crystal Nielson and Chris Randone from Bachelor in Paradise wish her a happy anniversary during his appearance on Good Morning America. He said, “I make things when I can for Megan, and there’s a traditional list of materials for anniversary gifts. First anniversary is paper and so-forth. Fifteenth anniversary is crystal, so we’re fans of ‘The Bachelor’ television program. It’s a popular TV show.”

He continued, “There’s a super-heroic character named Krystal on that program, and so she and her paramour, a guy that goes by the name of the ‘Goose’ — ‘Team Glitter Goose’ — they recorded a happy anniversary video for Megan.”

What advice did they have for ‘Bachelor’ contestants?

Offerman and Mullally helped the ladies as they took the stage at The Regent, DTLA as the women had to tell stories of important “firsts” in their lives (the implication being that Colton Underwood hasn’t yet experienced a very important first – losing his virginity). With longtime careers in comedic performances, both Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally were exceptionally qualified to give advice for their performances. Fans on Twitter were loving it – even if they were a little thrown by Offerman’s shaved head.

Mullally and Offerman coached the women prior to their performances. Mullally assured them that her biggest source of strength was inner confidence and that they should work on developing the same. The couple went on to roast The Bachelor in a good-natured manner. It was all in good fun, of course – they’ve already admitted that they’re fans of the show, even before their appearance.

Their short cameo garnered a ton of reactions on social media, with some fans even begging them to come back or even host the show in the future. But Chris Harrison shouldn’t worry too much – they seem content to remain spectators for now.
