The pilot seems open to getting down on one knee at the end of his season. Weber told Ellen DeGeneres what he’s looking for in a wife.

“It sounds cliche, but that girl is my best friend,” he said. “And, you know, you can wake up every single morning and just, makeup on, no makeup, you are just so madly in love with her. And you can’t believe that you were lucky enough to find her and spend the rest of your life with her.”

He then continued, “The girl that is as thirsty for adventure as I am and just constantly exploring and is never going to lose that. A girl that family is extremely important to her. Because for me, coming from such a close family, that’s my rock.”

‘The Bachelor’ will return in January 2020

A sign that the time for the new season is getting closer is that a promo dropped. Season 24 will premiere on Jan. 6 and will start a 8 p.m. EST.

The video opens with an airplane given the pilot’s career. There is also a windmill given his infamous Fantasy Suite. He comes out of the windmill, leans, and smiles.

He announced that he’s back home

The pilot showed that he’s back home by posting a picture with his dog on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, “Just got back from two months of the most insane journey ever… told my boy everything and he can’t believe it!”

Some familiar people from The Bachelorette commented on the post. “Missed ya homie!! I know you found your love,” wrote Mike Johnson. Connor Saeli wrote, “We missed ya, Pete! Good to have you back!” Dylan Barbour joked, “brb making a pilot Pete Stan account.”

Weber previously share a picture of him getting off a plane on Instagram. He captioned it with, “A mile of road will take you a mile. A mile of runway will take you anywhere.”

It looks like Johnson is ready to root for the reality star. This is after it was revealed that Johnson was being considered for the role and admitted he thought Weber is the “safe” choice. Johnson went to Bachelor in Paradise and went on a date with Demi Lovato after The Bachelorette.

Weber reportedly had an eventful season and suffered a freak accident while filming. Fans will have to wait to find out more about that and his journey by watching the new season.
