‘The Bachelor’ Peter Weber’s Latest Instagram Photo Prompts Hilarious ‘Spoiler Alert’ Comment from Lauren Zima — Poking Fun at Fans
The Bachelor season finale part 1 is tonight, and fans are on edge for spoilers. Peter Weber will choose between Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss in the season finale, which Chris Harrison teased is like nothing we have ever seen before.
Speculation is running rampant, so it’s no wonder that Harrison’s girlfriend and Entertainment Tonight reporter, Lauren Zima, is poking fun at fans’ relationship rumors.
What did Peter Weber post on Instagram the day before ‘The Bachelor’ Season Finale?
Fans are stalking Weber’s Instagram account daily in hopes that he will give some small hint about who he chooses in the final rose ceremony. Weber is shocked that no one has spoiled his season of The Bachelor yet.
The day before the finale part 1, Weber posted a photo of him and his brother, Jack, for his birthday.
“My best friend turns a quarter of a century today! Love you @jettinjack,” Weber wrote with a photo hugging his brother.
The picture seemed innocent enough, but before fans could turn it into something more, host and creator of Rose and Rosé podcast, Zima did it for them.
‘FINALE SPOILER ALERT’ Zima wrote on the photo of Weber and his brother, Jack
Fans went wild with replies over Zima’s comment that Weber ends up with his best friend, instead of Madison or Hannah. Her response was meant as a joke, but not all fans took it that way. Last week, two contestants on Weber’s season, Alexa Caves and Jasmine Nguyen, were the topic of relationship rumors because of a similar post.
“Spoiler: We did find love after all,” Jasmine originally captioned the quote.
However, after an excessive amount of fan speculation, Alexa addressed the rumors in an Instagram story.
“I wasn’t going to address this because I thought it would just blow over, but I see now I’m getting a lot of questions, and the story seems to be getting bigger,” she wrote. “We don’t want to mislead anyone. Jay and I are not dating. She’s one of my best friends. I’m sorry to get your hopes up! That would be a great story. She really just thought that was a cute caption and didn’t think much of it.”
It sounds like Zima is suggesting that fans would jump to the same conclusion with Weber.
Fan reactions to Weber’s post range from cracking up to not getting it
“Incest, it was a terrible joke,” wrote one Instagram user.
“People really don’t know how to take a joke, sheesh!” replied another fan.
“Hilarious!!” one viewer commented.
“The best thing you ever said,” another fan added.
“No one saw it coming!” wrote one Instagram user.
Although Weber didn’t give us any hints to the end of his season, at least his supporters and fans had a little fun.
Stay tuned for Weber’s 2-part finale of The Bachelor tonight, Mar. 9, 2020, at 8 pm ET and tomorrow, Mar.10, 2020, at 8 pm ET.
