‘The Bachelor’: Peter’s Mom Is Talking About [SPOILER] in the Finale

Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor is about to come to a screeching halt. Chris Harrison has said from the beginning that Weber’s finale would be unlike any other. While there have been several theories in circulation about which woman Weber chooses, fans are dying to know who Weber’s mom, Barbara, is referring to in the iconic teaser for the finale. It’s not who Bachelor Nation originally thought!

Barbara begs Peter: ‘Don’t let her go’

In a scene from the upcoming Bachelor finale, we see Barabara beg Weber: “Don’t let her go. Don’t let her go! Bring her home. Bring her home to us!” Who is Barbara referring to? Until recently, Bachelor Nation thought she was referring to Madison Prewett. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Weber was wearing the same shirt in the scene where his mom is crying that he is wearing in the scene where he brings Prewett to hang out with his family.

An ABC executive, Rob Mills, recently put that theory to rest. Mills told Variety: “I would say [who Barbara is talking about is] probably not who people think. People will probably be surprised when they see who she’s talking about.”

Barbara isn’t talking about Madison Prewett

Despite what fans theorized about Weber’s outfit, Reality Steve updated his theory to reflect that Barbara wasn’t referring to Prewett. After he received conflicting information about the Bachelor finale over the weekend, Reality Steve updated his post earlier this morning to clarify who Barbara was begging Weber to bring back:

One thing I reported recently was that it was clear Barbara’s plea of ‘don’t let her go…bring her home to us’ was the same day as when Madison met the parents. Most people assumed it was Madison. It’s not. You’ll see tonight Barbara is talking about Hannah Ann. I don’t wanna say the family didn’t like Madison, but after meeting both, the family was much more pro-Hannah Ann. But Peter’s mind is on Madison. That’s where the struggle happens.

‘The Bachelor’ two-part finale

According to Reality Steve, a trusted source when it comes to spoilers, Weber ends up with Hannah Ann Sluss because his family likes her more. But after realizing his heart is with Prewett, Weber supposedly breaks it off with Sluss shortly after the final rose ceremony.

Despite his mother’s wishes for Weber to bring back Sluss, it’s rumored that Weber and Prewett are currently dating and that he’ll propose to her during the “After the Final Rose” special. Once again, Reality Steve pointed out:

Peter did not get engaged to anyone on final rose ceremony day. Doesn’t mean he won’t be by the ATFR or ON the ATFR. But what I do know is that there was no engagement on final rose ceremony day in Australia.

This means that Sluss is probably the one crying in the promos for the finale when Weber whispers, “I’m so sorry.”

Regardless of what we Reality Steve has said, Bachelor Nation will still tune in to see which of the rumors is actually true. Where Weber stands with anyone won’t become evident until the “After the Final Rose” special, but until then, we’ll have to settle for the answers we get tonight.

Part one of The Bachelor season finale airs tonight on ABC.
