‘The Bachelor’ Producers Plan to Re-Air Juan Pablo’s Season Before Clare Crawley’s and Fans Have Strong Feelings

Clare Crawley‘s season of The Bachelorette was going to begin filming on March 13, 2020; however, it was postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). The premiere date for Crawley’s season was May 18, 2020, but it might be pushed back.

In lieu of these recent developments, The Bachelor producers took to Twitter to assess the fans’ opinion on re-releasing past seasons. Talk of Juan Pablo Galavis‘ season brought many feelings to the table.

Producer Chris Harrison asked fans which seasons of ‘The Bachelor’ they want to rewatch

On March 16, 2020, Harrison asked fans for their opinions on which season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette they would like to see on air during the coronavirus quarantine. The answers were decidedly mixed.

“If you could see prior seasons, what would you want to see?” Harrison tweeted. “Clare’s season with Juan Pablo? Start at the beginning? Trista’s Bachelorette? Weigh in give us your thoughts.”

The result of Harrison’s question generated over 5,000 comments with vastly different answers. Some fans wanted to start at the beginning and binge-watch every season. Others wanted to watch favorite seasons, such as Hannah Brown’s and Sean Lowe’s.

“How about just the ones that are still together?” tweeted one fan. “We could use some happily ever after right now.”

‘The Bachelor’ producer Mike Fleiss announced Juan Pablo’s season would air immediately

After monitoring the comments all day, Fleiss announced around 7:15 p.m. that Juan Pablo’s season seemed like the right answer.

“I will speak with my dear friend @Millsy11374 about putting @Clare_Crawley and JP’s season on the air ASAP,” Fleiss tweeted on March 16, 2020.

Fans responded mostly with disdain. While viewers love the way Crawley stood up to Juan Pablo in the end, they hate watching him.

“NOT Juan Pablo!” replied one fan on Twitter. “NOOOO! Please, for the love of all that’s good and holy, do NOT subject us to Juan Pablo ever again. That would truly put us over the edge. The #coronapocolypse is going to be hard enough.”

Others wondered whether Fleiss was kidding when he promised to air JP’s season again.

“That’s a joke, right?” added another fan. “No one actually wants to see Juan Pablo ever again on a television.”

Some fans are conflicted because they want to catch up on what happened with JP and Crawley; however, they don’t want to give him more air time.

Quarantined ‘The Bachelor’ fans beg for all of the seasons to be on Netflix

“Please put all seasons on Netflix,” requested one fan. “Start soon. 6.7 million of us in the Bay Area are on lockdown starting at Midnight! Will be working at home until the foreseeable future, would love some Bachelor shows to binge that haven’t been released yet to streaming platforms!”

With the world going through a global pandemic of the coronavirus, fans are looking for something to do. Many are stuck in their houses unable to work or are working from home. So they began begging producers for more streaming of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette past seasons.

“All seasons need to be on Netflix,” added another fan. “Give us some distractions to have for the next few weeks. We need this.”

Hopefully, The Bachelor producers respond quickly and efficiently, so the fans have something to enjoy while they are locked in due to the coronavirus outbreak.
