‘The Bachelor’: Proof That Cassie Randolph Might Not Be as in Love with Colton Underwood as She Says
It’s a question that fans just can’t seem to get a read on. In all of the couple’s post Bachelor interviews, they seem positively in love, but there are a few tell-tale signs that that might not actually be the case.
Randolph and Underwood’s breakup
The first and probably most prominent clue that Randolph might not be in love with Underwood is that she broke up with him! He broke all of The Bachelor rules by telling her that he wanted to be with her while he still had two other girls to choose from. Even though Underwood told Randolph all of this, she still chose to leave the show and the former football player.
It wasn’t until Underwood jumped over a wall (which somehow helped) and showed up at her hotel room promising not to propose that Randolph agreed to date him.
They haven’t moved in together
Most couples end The Bachelor or Bachelorette engaged. Randolph made it clear that she wasn’t at a place to accept a proposal during Underwood’s season so the two left the show promising to just “see how things went.”
The next step that many Bachelor couples take is moving in together, which Randolph and Underwood still haven’t done.
Shortly, after his season, Underwood moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Randolph who lived in Huntington Beach at the time.
“We are trying to do everything as normal as possible,” Underwood told Extra. “I don’t think you realize how many important steps you miss in the Bachelor process, which is nothing against them. We want to make sure we do this the right way. Statistically speaking, for Bachelors, it’s not very good odds, so I think us going against what other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples have done is probably going to work out in our favor.”
“We both feel like … living our separate lives but still coming together at the end of the day is what’s most important for us and what’s the right step for where we’re at in our relationship.”
What do fans think?
Fans aren’t buying the love between the two, even though the couple is certainly pushing it on us.
Randolph recently tweeted a cute story about how she and Underwood bought everything on the menu at Starbucks, probably thinking that fans would comment on how adorable they were together.
She thought wrong.
“You 2 have to be the worst like,” one user commented. “Never seen anything so lame like is it a contract y’all have to act so fake for a certain period of time?”
One user answered the question.
“Yes yes it is,” the person wrote. “Plus they always trying to desperately prove it’s real on this show so they can keep the ring and keep doing whatever publicity events come their way while still together.”
Others hoped the love between the couple was real but were doubtful.
“When the rhetoric stops and the likes are less frequent, when faced with the vanishing level of interest, cameras shut off, will you still be together?” another person tweeted. “Just hoping it’s real!!! Restore my faith!!!”
