‘The Bachelor’: Shiann Hid That She Was a Flight Attendant From Peter Weber So He Wouldn’t Send Her Home Early

The “Women Tell All” episode of The Bachelor brought back everyone’s favorite — and not-so-favorite — contestants from Peter Weber’s season. Viewers got to see who Weber sent home before proposals (Victoria Fuller) and also heard Rachel Lindsay’s segment on internet hate and racism. But one funny tidbit about Shiann Lewis never came up on the show, which she’s bummed about. It’s the fact that she kept her flight attendant past a secret from Weber.

Shiann Lewis used to be a flight attendant but hid it

It didn’t seem like a coincidence at all that Weber sent home all the flight attendants on night one and Lewis noticed the pattern. She said that she was one a couple of years ago, but told Lindsay, the host, on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that she had to keep it a secret. “I was like, ‘Uh-uh.’ I gotta build a relationship first before I highlight [it],” Lewis told Lindsay.

Lewis then went into detail about how she broke the news to Weber. She called it a “kind of dramatic scene” and sat Weber down for the conversation. “There’s something I need to tell you,” she told Weber, which of course put him on high alert. “It’s on my chest like I’ve been laying in bed, staying up late about this. I just don’t want you to think anything different about me,” Lewis continued, prolonging Weber’s suspense. She admitted that Weber was scared by this point, but when she finally revealed, “I used to be a flight attendant,” he thought it was hilarious.

Both Lewis and Weber are bummed it didn’t make the cut

However, that scene never made the final cut of the season, nor was it mentioned last night on “Women Tell All.” “He’s still talking about it because he loves it,” Lindsay told Lewis about the moment. “He was excited to tell us [on the podcast]… He’s so upset that didn’t make the cut.”

Lewis, who didn’t get a lot of screentime, was also bummed. Not necessarily for the exposure, but because it was a great moment. “I’m so sad that didn’t show. There was a lot of me crying, and that was one moment and I was like, ‘They’re gonna show this’… and they didn’t even show it and I was like, ‘Great,’” she said.

Lewis wishes she had been more ‘aggressive’ when fighting for Weber’s heart

When Lindsay asked Lewis if there was anything she regretted about the season or choices she made, Lewis did say one thing. “I definitely could have been more aggressive,” Lewis shared. “It’s hard when you’re on the show. You try, but that doesn’t mean you get your way.” She did try, but Lewis does admit she could have been more assertive in different scenarios.

“I’m not a person to just be naggy,” Lewis said. “I’m not. I will put forth the effort, but I’m not gonna just be in your face all the time, go-go-go-go. That was challenging for me.”
