‘The Bachelor’: This Wild Fan Theory About What Chris Harrison Reveals Before the Proposal Might be True
Week 2 of The Bachelor is full of drama, champagne, and excessive crying. The promos for the remainder of the season reveal there is so much more of that to come. There’s one thing that fans want to know. What does Chris Harrison tell Peter Weber right before he is about to propose?
What do the scenes from the rest of ‘The Bachelor’ Season 24 reveal?
Fans are freaking out over the huge plot twist that Harrison is about to tell Weber right before he is ready to propose. The ring in the bachelor’s hand looks gorgeous, and all we want to know is who he is giving it to.
“There’s something all of us just found out,” Harrison calmly tells Weber during the promo.
Then they flash to a scene of Weber lying down on a bed with his hands on his head. He is distraught.
“I feel like I’m going to pass out right now,” Weber admits.
What did Harrison tell Weber that has him so clearly upset? Fans think they know.
Viewers jump straight to this shocking conclusion
“Wild theory: Peter gets one of the girls pregnant,” wrote one viewer on Reddit. “That’s the news that Chris gives to Peter.”
Many other fans quickly agree—so many that the same comment is written at the same time, multiple times.
“Am I getting pregnancy hints?” asks another fan.
The feeling that someone might be pregnant is radiating throughout the fandom. It could be because of all of the sex scenes the producers show in the promos. One of the scenes is Weber and an unknown contestant in a hot spring. He doesn’t even wait for the fantasy suites.
“My unspoiled prediction: someone in the final four didn’t want Peter to have sex with multiple people,” wrote another user on Reddit. “He did, she left, and he was gonna go ahead with someone else, but he finds out a) she’s pregnant or b) she wants to be with him still.”
Have any other contestants/stars become pregnant while filming ‘The Bachelor’ or ‘The Bachelorette?
In 2015, sources close to ABC reported that Kaitlyn Bristowe was expecting. The bachelorette squashed the rumors rather quickly.
In 2016, Crew members found a positive pregnancy test in the Mansion during Richie Strahan’s season. Although, no pregnancies turned up afterward.
In 2017, rumors spread that a contestant on Nick Viall’s season came forward to announce her pregnancy. However, again, the stories were not true.
It sounds like the pregnancy rumors end up flying during almost every season, so, likely, this one is not true, either. However, we also have never seen a past Bachelorette stir up such drama on a current bachelor’s season as Hannah Brown did. So, anything is possible. The next episode of The Bachelor airs Jan. 20, 2020, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
