‘The Bachelor’: Why Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph’s Breakup Doesn’t Mean They Don’t End up Together

It’s finally here. The Bachelor two-part season finale starts in just a matter of hours and Bachelor Nation is split about how they think Colton Underwood’s journey to find love will come to an end.

Last week, was the fantasy suite dates. After ending his date with Tayshia Adams without getting intimate, fans couldn’t help but notice that the relationship between Adams and Underwood was missing something.

And then when Underwood lit up when he saw contestant Cassie Randolph, it became clear that she was his woman of choice. Unfortunately, after her father made a surprise visit to see her, Randolph started questioning if she was actually in love with the Bachelor at all.

The episode continued with Randolph telling Underwood that she didn’t think that she could be with him anymore, despite him confessing that he loved her and wanted to choose her at the end of the whole thing. Finally, Randolph left the date and Underwood, causing the Bachelor to run away from production and jump over a fence. Yes, all of this actually happened.

But, does that really mean that it’s over for Underwood and Randolph? Not, necessarily. There have been a number of Bachelor couples who broke up on the show, only to get back together later.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham

On one of the most cringe-worthy seasons in Bachelor history, Luyendyk had a hard time choosing between Becca Kufrin and Burnham. In the end, he proposed to Kufrin, but their engagement bliss didn’t last long. After the show ended, he broke up with Kufrin ON TELEVISION to be with Burnham again. The former Bachelor and Burnham recently got married and are expecting their first child. Kufrin went on to be the next Bachelorette and is now engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen.

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney

Jason Mesnick originally proposed to Melissa Rycroft at the end of his season of The Bachelor. After the After the Final Rose special aired, Mesnick revealed that he was actually still in love with runner up, Molly Malaney, despite ending things with her during the season. He then broke up with Rycroft and begged for Malaney to take him back. Of course, all of this was televised. Mesnick and Malaney ended up getting back together and were married in 2010. Since then, the couple has had a daughter together and appears happier than ever.

Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon

Though this couple met on Bachelor in Paradise, no Bachelor couple has been through more than these two. Iaconetti was in love with Haibon from the first moment she laid eyes on him. Haibon, on the other hand, wasn’t feeling the love. The two dated on their BIP season but things didn’t work out and Haibon broke it off with Iaconneti. After ending things, they remained friends. They even both came back to BIP, but nothing happened between them there. In fact, Haibon ended up dating Caila Quinn while on the island, obviously upsetting Iaconetti in the process.

It wasn’t until after The Bachelor Winter Games when Iaconetti was dating Kevin Wendt that Haibon realized his feelings for her and kissed her.

Since then, Haibon and Iaconetti have gotten engaged.
