The Bachelor sometimes cast a pair of people that knew each other before they come onto the show. People probably remember Lucas “Whaboom” Yancey and Blake Elarbee from Rachel Lindsay’s season. They already hated each other and their drama led to both of them going home. Well, this season the drama is happening between two beauty pageant contestants, Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Hannah Brown. Why are they feuding? Here is everything we know so far.

Caelynn Miller-Keyes accused Hannah Brown of being jealous she didn’t place in Miss U.S.A.

In the “Week 3” episode of Season 23 things really got heavy between Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Hannah Brown. They both were in a beauty pageant where Miller-Keyes was Miss North Carolina and Brown was Miss Alabama. Things got sour between them after the results of the pageant. Miller-Keyes claimed that it was all about Brown’s jealousy.

We’re not necessarily the best of friends,” she said. “We were roommates at Miss USA. We were super close, and then she wasn’t happy that I was first runner-up. She was mad that she didn’t place, for sure. There were a lot of hurt feelings.”

She then continued, “With Hannah, there’s a façade and then it starts to crumble. Hannah kind of snapped; she flipped a switch. I was like, Wow, this is a whole new Hannah. Being in this environment, it’s pretty similar. I have no doubt that switch will be flipped soon. It happened pretty quickly.” So what was Brown’s side of the story?

Hannah Brown called Miller-Keyes fake

When it was Hannah Brown’s turn to talk about their past she said “It’s just so funny because there’s not one person in the world that I have a problem with, except her. It totally scares me for Colton … she’s fake.” She was the one who decided to reveal to Colton Underwood their rocky past and seemed to warn him that there could be another side to Miller-Keyes that he doesn’t know about.

Underwood really tried to get to the bottom of who was telling the truth. In the end, both of the beauty pageant contestants started calling each other manipulative.

I’m not deceitful,” Brown told the former football player. “I’m not manipulative. It’s just lies that aren’t true. … She’s manipulative and fake. She can put on a show of whatever version she wants to be for whatever goal is in mind … I – honest to goodness – believe if you picked her at the end, you would never see the full person. It breaks my heart for you.”

In the end, both women got a rose at the end of the third week. But chances are this won’t be the end of their feud. Underwood is probably still going to keep what both of them said into consideration in the upcoming weeks. Hopefully, more will be revealed about why the two just can’t get along.
