‘The Bachelorette’: Are Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid Officially Together Yet?
Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette had a lot of highs and lows. Well, actually mostly lows. Despite having over 20 eligible men to date, Brown ended up choosing the one that was there to promote his music career rather than to find love, Jed Wyatt. Sadly, this resulted in Brown breaking off her engagement.
“I am not with Jed anymore,” Brown told audiences at the live Bachelorette finale. “The engagement is over, we are not together. That is not what I said yes to. When I said those things, the things that I said to him on my engagement date, I thought that was my day, and I feel like that was taken from me and how special that was, and it’s been really hard to gravel with that, but I know that what I got is not what I ever wanted for a life partner and love that is not built on a foundation of trust and honesty. I have grown so much, and I know I deserved more than that.”
Though Brown and the winner of her season didn’t work out, fans still had high hopes for the reality star and her runner-up, Tyler Cameron.
Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron
Brown may not have chosen Cameron at the end of the season, but the chemistry between the two was still undeniable. The former beauty queen must have felt it too because she asked Cameron out on the live finale of The Bachelorette.
Unfortunately, shortly after their date, Cameron was spotted hanging around with model Gigi Hadid. At first, reports said that the relationship between Hadid and Cameron was just casual, but when pictures of Cameron supporting Hadid at her grandmother’s funeral came out, people began to wonder if the two had become a little more serious.
Are Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron official?
So far, Hadid and Cameron are remaining pretty tight-lipped about what exactly is going on between them.
“The media attention has been hard on Tyler and Gigi,” a source told People. “They’re trying to navigate it right now because they know how the press can pick apart every date they have and turn it into something bigger.”
Currently, the pair is “still just getting to know each other,” the source said. “They don’t want that pressure to push them further than where they are.”
Though traveling to the Netherlands to attend a funeral doesn’t seem like something a person would do for someone they’re not serious about, that’s exactly what Cameron did for Hadid when her grandmother passed away.
“Tyler said they’ve really connected,” a source close to Cameron told the outlet. “He’s a really nice guy and Gigi sees that in him. He was glad to be by her side at her grandmother’s funeral — that meant a lot to him.”
And since the funeral, the two have been constantly hanging out in New York City, hitting multiple NYFW shows like the Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger fashion show.
So, Cameron and Hadid may be taking it slow, but, from the looks of it, there may be a relationship coming in the future.
