‘The Bachelorette’: Clare Crawley’s Recent Instagram Post Has Bachelor Nation Fans Hyped for the Start of Her Journey

Bachelor Nation is ready for Clare Crawley’s journey to begin, but no one is as excited as the new bachelorette herself. The 39-year-old was originally expected to start filming her season back in March 2020. However, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic shut down production indefinitely. But now, it appears Crawley will finally dive into her next quest for love. Then, Crawley made an emotional Instagram post, reminding fans why she’s ready to take on the leading role for The Bachelorette Season 16.

On March 2, Crawley was named the next bachelorette for the 2020 season. The reality star was not a contestant on Peter Weber’s most recent season of The Bachelor. However, fans have gotten to know Crawley through the years, as she has appeared on four different Bachelor Nation shows.

Crawley was first introduced to the public on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor. She then returned for the first two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise and delivered that iconic raccoon scene. Finally, Crawley thought she found her forever with Benoit Beauséjour-Savard on Bachelor Winter Games. However, the couple split a few months after their engagement in the finale.

Nevertheless, Crawley is excited and hopeful about her new journey on The Bachelorette Season 16. Then in an interview with Good Morning America, Crawley revealed she knows exactly what she’s looking for in a partner now.

“The most important thing is I want a man that will take off his armor,” Crawley said. “I want a man who is strong. But is willing to take off the body armor, open himself up and be vulnerable. And I think that is some serious strength right there.”

On July 7, Crawley posted an emotional note on Instagram to thank her past self for her resilience when it came to love.

“Dear self- I want to thank you,” the note said. “You walked on so many difficult journeys these past few years. You fought battles- with those who love you, and with those whom you love. You were let down time and time again. But you didn’t let it shatter your faith in relationships, in love.”

It continued, “You’ve had to prove your worth to those unworthy and you were broken – more than words can explain but you have been reborn. You found your true self and changed the meaning of your life – turning it into something beautiful, into something worth living!”

The note concluded with hope for the future.

“So, I want to say that I’m proud of you,” she wrote. “I know how hard it has been. I cannot thank you enough for taking care of me. I promise that I will continue to take care of you too. Just keeping strong. For me. Keep going. Keep on fighting. You know you can do this. – Ruby Dahl.”

For the most part, Bachelor Nation fans believe Crawley’s recent post on Instagram was her last before The Bachelorette Season 16 starts filming. Then in an interview with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Crawley revealed she was expecting to leave for production soon.

“I’m still in shock, I’m gonna be honest. I am so hyped about it. Last week, I was like, ‘Is this happening?’ I have no idea,” Crawley said in the podcast published on June 23. “As a matter of fact, I found out maybe two hours ago when I’ll be going down and the final day that I’m leaving. So it’s very soon.”

Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve also revealed when Crawley and her Bachelorette cast are expected to arrive in Palm Springs to begin filming.

“I’m hearing that Clare, cast, & crew will arrive in Palm Springs, CA around July 9th/10th,” Reality Steve wrote on Twitter. “Everyone will be quarantined for a week, then filming will begin around the 17th. The resort where the whole season will be filmed, I believe, is the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage.”

Whether or not the July 7 Instagram post was Crawley’s final farewell before production officially begins, it’s clear the new bachelorette is ready to take on whatever comes her way. So stay tuned. This one’s going to be one for the books.
