But now that Brown is the new Bachelorette, things seem to be getting better between the two. Since the announcement, Miller-Keyes has wished the newest Bachelorette nothing but the best on her journey to find love.
Audiences already got to meet five of the men competing for Brown’s heart on The Bachelor live finale and the pictures and bios of the remaining men have been released by ABC.
The internet has been buzzing with who fans think Brown will pick, but Miller-Keyes has already chosen this season’s winner.
Who does Miller-Keyes think will win?
The former beauty queen and Brown may not be friends now, but there was once a time when they were, so Miller-Keyes knows how ready the Bachelorette is for marriage.
“There was a time when Hannah and I were really close, and I was dating a guy that I thought I was gonna get engaged to, and we broke up, [and] she was talking me through that,” she told Us Weekly. “And she talked about her breakup and how she was gonna get engaged, and if she was at that place a year ago, I feel even [more] strongly that she’s there more so now.”
Because of her background knowledge of Brown, Miller-Keyes thinks that contestant Luke Parker will be the one who ends up with
Miller-Keyes believes that Brown and the 24-year-old from Georgia have a great chance at connecting.
“I read an article online that said that he’s a Christian, and Hannah’s faith’s important to her — she’s a strong Christian. … They’re both from the South, I see that happening,” she said.
What did Hannah B. and Miller-Keyes feud about?
Brown and Miller-Keyes competed against each other at the Miss USA pageant in 2018. While there, the two became close friends. But once Miller-Keyes started progressing further than Brown, things between the women became strained.
Miller-Keyes went on to place as first runner-up in the competition.
When the two girls reunited on The Bachelor, the tension between them was still running high, but neither of them specifically explained what the feud had been about.
“When Miss USA was over, Caelynn came to stay with me and my girlfriend in Los Angeles,” Austin Ryde, photographer and makeup artist to Miss USA contestants recently told Vulture in an interview. “She had just gotten a text from Hannah, which I saw. I can’t recall the exact wording, but the general idea of the text was Caelynn made it a very difficult time for Hannah at Miss USA, and Hannah, in a very nice but direct way, said, ‘Congratulations, you placing so high is a huge deal, but I need you to know you weren’t a nice person and not very positive, and that took away from my experience.’ That was the falling out.”
Since then, the women have put their issues with one another to bed and Miller-Keyes says that she is genuinely excited for her former friend.
“I’m super happy for her,” she says. “She’s hilarious and completely herself, and I think we’ve never had a Bachelorette be so entirely herself… It’s gonna be a different season just because you’ve never seen someone be so vulnerable and so authentically themselves.”
