‘The Bachelorette’: Did Luke P. Make A Twitter Account Just To Fight With Hannah After Last Night’s Episode?
Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette got heated. Specifically, Hannah Brown’s fantasy suite date with contestant Luke Parker got heated. After a fun, relatively drama-free day exploring Greece via helicopter, Brown and Parker sat down for the dinner portion of their fantasy suite date.
The conversation that’s been teased for weeks was finally aired and it was even more cringe-worthy than the previews lead us to believe.
From the get-go, Parker came in pretty hot. He began the dinner conversation by telling Brown “I want it the way I want it,” when referring to their potential marriage.
“I just want to make sure that you’re not going to be sexually intimate with the other relationships here,” he told her.
Brown took in what Parker said and told him she didn’t agree and that his comments made her mad. From there, the conversation escalated until Brown asked Parker to leave.
Luke P.’s Twitter account
Parker hasn’t exactly been silent online about his time on the show. A few weeks into Brown’s season of The Bachelorette he posted a long post on Instagram about how he wanted to “address the elephant in the room,” referring to how he was being perceived on the show.
“I have learned a lot and I am continuing to learn about my flaws as a man. I’m the first to admit I am far from perfect. This journey has giving me a great opportunity to grow and mature as a man, for that I am grateful,” he wrote in his post.
But up until recently, the controversial contestant has been silent on Twitter. Probably because he didn’t have one. According to his account, his page was created in July 2019. His first tweet took place yesterday ominously stating, “I’m here I’m here, I just don’t have anything to say…..yet,” as if he was gearing up to tweet during last night’s episode.
A retweet that says: “you may have stumbled at the start but you stood tall at the finish. You’re not chasing a rose but a crown. He who conceals his sin will not prosper, but whoever confesses & renounces them will prosper. Proverbs 28:13”
And an article titled, “The Bible and The Bachelorette.”
Luke P.’s Twitter fight with Hannah Brown
Last night, as Brown was live-tweeting the episode, Parker tweeted at her.
“The difference in how we view sin is seen in the response, I’m weeping at mine and you’re laughing at yours. All sin stings. My heart hurts for both of us,” he wrote.
The two went back and forth, accusing the other of sinning.
The argument ended with Parker telling Brown to “get ahold” of him if she wanted to continue their conversation. Either Parker hasn’t given up hope about him and Brown and that’s why he’s engaging, or he’s standing up for himself after receiving so much criticism after last night’s episode. Either way, it certainly looks like he created a Twitter account to specifically respond to last night’s episode, and maybe even specifically to call Brown out.
