‘The Bachelorette’: Does Hannah Brown End the Season Alone?
Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette has turned into a bit of a dumpster fire. But honestly, we should have probably seen this coming. On night one of the show, she had to send someone home for having a girlfriend and then things just sort of went downhill from there.
Throughout the course of her season, she has had men leave unannounced (ahem Tyler G.), men send themselves home, and men focus more on one another than her. Honestly, we wouldn’t blame her if she just wrapped the show early, sent everyone home, and sat on her couch with a bottle of wine for the next few weeks.
But Brown is still going and still searching for love. But the big question is, does she find it?
Why Brown may not find love
The biggest reason why Brown may end this season alone is Luke Parker. He has completely derailed her journey and made everything about himself. In turn, she has focused so much on trying to figure out what’s going on with Parker and ignoring the red flags that she didn’t get to spend enough time getting to know the guys who might have genuinely been there for her.
Several men on the show have warned Brown about keeping Parker around, yet she continues to give him roses.
Does Brown think she will get engaged?
It’s getting to the point where even Brown isn’t sure if she will get a happily ever after.
“I don’t know if I will [get there],” she told host Chris Harrison on last week’s episode. “I see that there are relationships here that like, really could be it for me. But I’m not going to settle and just go into something if it’s not where it needs to be.”
At that point, she had kind of lost faith that things would turn out well.
“I have really lost a lot of hope, but I’m still holding onto knowing that there has got to be good that comes out of this,” she said. “It’s hard, but I don’t give up. I’m going to complain about it… but I’m going to see this thing through until the end.”
Even Harrison has had his doubts about how this season will end.
“I wish I could guarantee [a proposal], but I cannot deliver… I don’t know, I would love to be able to do my job and deliver this, but I don’t know if we’re going to,” Harrison told Entertainment Tonight before filming the finale. “It might be a bumpy finish.”
“Sitting here now, I really don’t know how it’s going to end,” he said. “I am hopeful and she is hopeful, but the way she wants to find love and the way she is going about this is really true and sincere. She is not just going to do it to do it, and as rough as it has been and as wild as it has been, I am not sure she is going to be able to get there. And that is because she doesn’t know if she will be able to get there. So, I am interested as anybody to see how this all wraps up.”
Why does Harrison think this season is turning out this way?
Harrison also believes that some of the guys have been distractions, which may be why Brown isn’t further along in her relationships.
“There is a guy not there for the right reasons, then there are the guys that just rub everyone the wrong way, that everyone loves to hate,” Harrison told the outlet. “It’s just stuff she has to deal with constantly, and every time we think we’re over it, it rears its ugly head and she has to get back in.”
“It really got to the point where honestly, it started taking away from her being the Bachelorette. It took away from the entire season and the chance for her to find love, and it may cause her not to find love at the end of this.”
