‘The Bachelorette’: Does Hannah Brown Think She Will Get Engaged?
The goal of The Bachelor andThe Bachelorette is to end up with an engaged couple at the end of the season. Nothing makes Bachelor Nation more satisfied than a happily ever after, well except maybe a televised wedding special.
It’s no secret that this year’s Bachelorette, Hannah Brown, is looking for something real. After her failed attempt at winning Colton Underwood’s heart, Brown is ready, now more than ever, to get her happy ending. The problem is, an engagement at the end of the season isn’t guaranteed.
Not all Bachelor or Bachelorette couple’s end up engaged. On Rachel Lindsay’s season, her number two choice, Peter Kraus, said that he wouldn’t propose to her if she chose him in the end, which led to her picking Bryan Abasolo. Last season, Underwood’s choice, Cassie Randolph, said that she wasn’t ready to get engaged so their season ended without a proposal.
So, will a man get down on one knee at the end of Brown’s journey or will she be back to square one at the end of the season?
Does Brown think she will get engaged?
Brown hasn’t had the easiest time so far. On the very first night, she had to let someone go for having a girlfriend back home. On top of that, some of the men on her season have proven to be quite aggressive and just aren’t husband material.
But Brown is still hopeful that she will find a husband at the end of the day.
“I do think that that is a possibility,” she told Entertainment Tonight of getting engaged. “It’s still really early and that is a very serious commitment for me and something that I don’t want to fail at,” she said. “I want my engagement to be a marriage and my marriage be forever, and sometimes I hesitate on that just because I want to make sure that I am completely 100 percent in love with somebody and want to spend the rest of my life with them and know that in return.”
“I definitely think that could happen here, but still need more time,” she continued.
Does Chris Harrison think Brown will get engaged?
Host Chris Harrison is like the fairy godmother to all Bachelors and Bachelorettes. He tries to help them find partners and get the love story they have always wanted. But even Harrison has his doubts as to how Brown’s season will end.
“I wish I could guarantee [a proposal], but I cannot deliver… I don’t know, I would love to be able to do my job and deliver this, but I don’t know if we’re going to,” Harrison told Entertainment Tonight just ahead of filming the finale. “It might be a bumpy finish.”
“Sitting here now, I really don’t know how it’s going to end,” he continued. “I am hopeful and she is hopeful, but the way she wants to find love and the way she is going about this is really true and sincere. She is not just going to do it to do it, and as rough as it has been and as wild as it has been, I am not sure she is going to be able to get there. And that is because she doesn’t know if she will be able to get there. So, I am interested as anybody to see how this all wraps up.”
