‘The Bachelorette’: Why Hannah Brown Might Not Get Engaged This Season
The Bachelorette Hannah Brown is determined to find love. She tried to find it during Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, but she placed seventh. Now, she’s looking for love during The Bachelorette season 15. However, it’s possible Hannah might not get engaged this season. Here’s why.
Things have been tense in The Bachelorette mansion
During episode three, Tyler G. left, but it wasn’t captured onscreen. Before that, Hannah kicked Scott out of the mansion after it was revealed he still had a girlfriend. Hannah was understandably upset, calling him a “jerk,” and sending him on his way. She told the remaining men she only wanted people there to be real with her and to be honest.
Hannah Brown says the season doesn’t end the way she thought it would
One sign Hannah might not get engaged is that she says things don’t turn out the way she expected. If you’ve been following her story, then you know she really wants to get engaged and eventually married. Although she says she’s happy, she also says she didn’t get the expected outcome. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hannah discusses how the season took some unexpected turns.
I will tell you that I’m happy and, ultimately, this season and how it all turned out is not how I thought it would be. It just wasn’t. It doesn’t mean that it’s not good. I think it happened the exact way that it was supposed to, and I feel really excited and blessed to have the opportunity that I’ve had and feel really good and want you all to see what that is. I can’t really tell you much more.
Chris Harrison said there would be a lot of “man drama”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison promised Bachelor Nation Hannah’s season of The Bachelorette would be full of surprises and lots of drama. Apparently, the men are very serious about winning Hannah’s heart:
There is more drama this season than we’ve ever had on any show, The Bachelor or The Bachelorette — the man drama is intense. It gets physical. They were just on fire. And I think a lot of that had to do with the guys being really on point, with even one of them kind of professing his love on one of the first dates. The analogy I give Hannah is that it’s like you’re drinking from a fire hydrant. It’s a lot and sometimes, it’s just too much. These guys were a lot for her to handle, but she held her own. It was rocky and it’s been a lot for her.
Chris Harrison also said Hannah Brown won’t get engaged just for the sake of getting engaged
We can see from the last couple of episodes that Hannah is definitely her own woman. She’s not one to be swayed by what the TV producers want. Harrison echoed this by telling The Hollywood Reporter he knows Hannah well enough to say that she wouldn’t get engaged if it didn’t feel right.
I think she’s definitely open-minded to just finding love and she’s definitely open to getting engaged. But one thing I like about her — and this goes back to her being raw and real — she’s not going to go through the motions. She’s not going to fake this. She’s not going to just tell everybody what they want to hear or just get engaged for the show. She’s really going to let it happen and if it doesn’t happen on her own time and in her own way, then it won’t. So that’s why I tell you that, at this point, I don’t know how it’s going to end.
