‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt Were at the Same Party This Weekend

Jed Wyatt won Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, he won just before the former beauty pageant queen learned he’d come on the show with a girlfriend waiting for him back home. Though he said he was sorry on Brown’s “After The Final Rose,” he’s made remarks here and there since then to suggest differently.

“From the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that I’m sorry. Apparently, they’ve already shown where I half apologized but, especially in hindsight, now that I’ve had time to review myself and my past and my behaviors towards not only you but other people, I fully see that I wasn’t the best that I could be. And by lacking details to you, the things that you deserve, and the things that you want, it kind of–not kind of–it ruined what we found here in a place that I never would have expected to find love like this with someone that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with,” he told Brown on “After The Final Rose.”

Brown was first introduced to Bachelor Nation on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. There, she met Hannah Godwin. While Brown went on to become the bachelorette, Godwin went on to star in the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise where she met her fiancé Dylan Barbour.

Barbour met Wyatt on Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, where they became friends. After the Wyatt scandal broke, several of Brown’s contestants voiced their “disappointment” in the Nashville musician. But Barbour always remained on Wyatt’s side.

The result? Both Wyatt (along with his new girlfriend) and Brown ended up at Godwin and Barbour’s engagement party this past weekend.

What ‘Bachelor’ fans make of Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt both receiving invitations to Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour’s engagement party

Here’s what some of Bachelor Nation is saying about the event.

“Seeing your ex-fiancé who you broke up with after finding out through a magazine that he was playing you with his new girlfriend at your friend’s engagement party is quite the horrible situation to find yourself in,” wrote one Reddit user.

“Between Jed being there and HB having to associate herself with Dylan after he shaded her multiple times on [social media] and unfriended her.. girlfriend has more balls than I would,” wrote another.

“Stuff like this makes me like Hannah B. No matter how bad she is at noticing red flags, she doesn’t back down even in situations most people would feel uncomfortable and likely avoid,” commented another. “She still turned up for her friend (HG) even despite the partner who had vaguely tried to dent her reputation.”

We have yet to hear if Brown and Wyatt even ran into each other at the party. There’s a good chance they avoided each other the whole night. Either way, the majority consensus on Reddit seems to be that fans are impressed Brown showed up in support of Godwin despite “he who shall not be named.”
