‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown On The Text Message Tyler Cameron Sent Her On Her Birthday

Hannah Brown had a birthday recently. She celebrated by dancing, of course, as she’s currently competing on Dancing With The Stars.

“the best score for my last night as 24. what a night, what a year,” she posted on Instagram.

Last year, for her birthday, Brown celebrated by competing for Colton Underwood’s heart on his season of The Bachelor.

A lot has changed for Hannah Brown in a year

She was a contestant on The Bachelor, became the bachelorette, navigated her way through a toxic relationship, got engaged, ended her engagement, and asked her runner-up Tyler Cameron out for a drink on national TV only to learn he began pursuing supermodel Gigi Hadid a couple days after the two of them got that drink.

And Brown’s been open and honest with America about how she’s feeling throughout her entire journey.

“I’m living on my own for the first time and shuffling through this life of next steps with press, media, and opportunities galore. I miss my friends and family who have watched my life explode. […] I am not complaining about this past year of adventures. The woman who has emerged would shock the mirror-image young girl from a year ago. I have so many blessings to be thankful for. However it’s uncharted territory for me, and it’s been hard to really process what the heck is going on,” Brown wrote on Instagram in a post that began: “Honest policy.”

For America certainly (and maybe for Brown), Cameron was the one who got away. He charmed everyone with his good looks and charismatic charm. When Brown sent him home to get engaged to Jed Wyatt, many Bachelorette fans were left yelling and weeping at their TVs.

For a moment there, when it seemed Brown and Cameron may reunite romantically (after he was seen leaving her apartment in Los Angeles in the morning with an overnight bag), all was well in Bachelor Nation. But, as mentioned previously, Cameron, days later, flew to New York City to go on a date with Hadid.

Though it seems the two won’t be getting back together anytime soon, they’re on fine enough terms.

Cameron even texted Brown to wish her a happy birthday.

“It was nice for him to text me on my birthday,” Brown told Us Weekly recently. “It’s been really special. The people that I’ve met that have come in my life and just supported me through everything that I’ve gone through, it’s been one of the biggest blessings in all of this. Just everyone that I’ve got to meet or come in contact with and just gain wisdom and advice from. It’s really special.”

In an interview with the publication a few days prior, Cameron said that he and Brown are friends.

“We’re friends and I think she’s an incredible girl and I have so much love for her and I want her to be successful and have the best. I don’t know about the future,” he told the publication before adding that he spoke to Brown on her 25th birthday. “I’m just trying to worry about today and tomorrow, you know?”
