‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown Throws Shade at Tyler C. for Gigi Hadid VMA Date
Hannah Brown might be feeling left a little high and dry these days. The Bachelorette star was let down after her season on the show when she discovered the man she chose — Jed Wyatt — actually spurned a lover back home in order to appear on the show. Hannah decided to get un-engaged, though many fans felt she’d missed her chance at love with contestant Tyler C.
Now, Tyler C. seems to be falling into the arms of Gigi Hadid — and it seems like Hannah B. might be feeling a little bitter about that.
Tyler C.’s relationship with Gigi Hadid
Hannah Brown and Tyler C. broke things off in May — or rather, Hannah broke things off with Tyler. The Bachelorette star loved being around Tyler, but seemed to love being around Jed Wyatt more. Unfortunately for her, Wyatt turned out to be a love rat — it seems the wannabe musician jilted a former lover at home in order to show up on The Bachelorette.
Meanwhile, Tyler C. had moved on. Or at least, he’d started to. Tyler and Gigi Hadid started following each other on Instagram in July. On August 4th, Tyler C. was spotted on a date with Gigi Hadid in New York City — however, Tyler had also just had a date with Hannah B a few days before, and was seen leaving her house the next day.
Gigi Hadid and Tyler went on two more dates in August, and he was seen leaving her house afterward both times. It’s clear that Tyler C. and Gigi Hadid are hitting it off — and more. The two even wound up vacationing together in Lake George.
A source told E! News, “There is a connection there for sure. Gigi was smiling more last night than she has in a while. She just looks really happy and calm with Tyler around. It’s like she is herself around him, no pretense or act.”
Another source told E!, “Tyler likes Gigi and definitely wants to keep seeing her. He wasn’t sure if it would turn into something but they are having a lot of fun and don’t want it to end, that’s for sure. They are seeing each other a lot and texting all day long. He’s excited about her.”
Hannah Brown seems bitter
However, The Bachelorette herself seems a little bitter about the whole thing. When Hannah B. cut things off with Jed Wyatt, she made another pass at Tyler C., hoping to pick up where they’d left off. During the After the Final Rose reunion, Hannah B. asked Tyler C. to get drinks, and he agreed.
They went on a date together, and Tyler C. was spotted leaving her house in the morning — yes, this is the same date days before Tyler C. was spotted out with Gigi Hadid. Clearly this rubbed Hannah B. the wrong way.
During a Comsopolitan segment comparing expensive things to cheaper ones, Hannah B. sipped champagne and reminisced. “Do y’all remember that one time I was engaged?” she asked, after gulping down some champagne. Yes Hannah, we do, which time though? Turns out there are three now.
“Do you remember that one time I got un-engaged?” she asked, before slurping more. “Do you remember that one time I then asked another person out on a date, on national television, after I got un-engaged? And then…just read the tabloids.”
Clearly Hannah B. feels spurned by Tyler C., but at the same time, she had her chance to give the man a rose, and she went with Jed Wyatt instead.
Tyler C. spotted at the VMA after-party
To top it all off, Tyler C. was spotted with Gigi Hadid once again, this time at the VMA after-party. And it seems as if the couple are making their relationship known to the public — they were spotted sharing a kiss during the event.
During the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Hannah said, “He has every right to do whatever he wants because we were, you know, just hanging out, seeing where it goes. And I am completely fine with that.”
She felt as if he moved on quickly after their own date, however. “I wish I would’ve got a little bit more than two days. But, you know, it is okay,” she said. Again, it’s hard to feel too much sympathy, given that Hannah Brown shut down Tyler C. during the show, but everyone has feelings.
