‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown’s Mom Calls Luke P. An A**
The “Men Tell All” episode of Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette got pretty heated Monday night. Much of the evening centered around controversial contestant Luke Parker and his relationships with the other contestants and Brown.
During the episode, Brown’s mother, Susanne, couldn’t help but share her thoughts on Parker in the form of an Instagram post.
Susanne’s deleted Instagram post
“In the bag!!! You would not have made it pass me you are a A**!!” Susanne wrote, as captured by Comments by Celebs.
Hannah asked her mother to delete the post upon seeing it.
“Mother. Delete. And never use social media again. I love you though (and you’re right),” she wrote, agreeing with the “a**” comment.
When the interraction was captured by the Comments by Celebs Instagram page, Hannah commented: “I know you have no idea what this account is but…MAMA, WE MADE IT. (But seriously please run anything you post on social past someone first so this doesn’t happen again).”
Why Hannah Brown’s mom called Luke P. out on Instagram
Susasnne had a lot to be angry about while watching Parker on “Men Tell All.” While he did apologized to Hannah, he also said he wouldn’t change his behavior if he could go back, and he continued to fixate on the Bachelorette’s sexuality.
“I really don’t have much to say, just the fact that I’m sorry that I made the whole process for you so difficult and I will say thank you. You actually did teach me a lot as well about myself, taught me how to self reflect and you showed me how important it is to open up, so I will say thank you for that. So, that’s all I have,” he told her.
Months later, Hannah was still visibly worked up over her relationship with Parker.
“Now, looking back, it wasn’t just that moment. I had been blind to everything that had been happening. […] That night, I felt it and saw it for myself and that was when it just snapped for me. Now I’m like I will not put up with this because that’s not love, that’s not what the person I want to spend the rest of my life with’s ever gonna make me feel. I’m so over being slut-shamed and feeling like that makes me not a woman of faith,” she said to an enthusiastically cheering audience.
Despite her negative experience with Parker, Brown doesn’t regret the relationship.
“I don’t regret the way that it happened because I feel like the relationship that I had with Luke, unfortunately, it’s a relationship that a lot of women can relate to. A lot of women have been in toxic relationships and maybe, just maybe me going through that and being able to remember my worth and figure that out for myself can help somebody that’s in that now see the signs of that and, ultimately, that makes me realize that I don’t have regrets because that was worth all of it,” she said.
