‘The Bachelorette’: Jed Wyatt Says He’s Probably Not Going To Watch Hannah Brown On ‘DWTS’
Jed Wyatt was awarded Hannah Brown’s final rose on her season of The Bachelorette, but she ended her engagement to the Nashville musician after learning that he had come on the show with a girlfriend.
“The second night after we got engaged Jed tells me that he had been hanging out with this girl before he left to come on the show. I was like ‘When was this?’ And I remember him saying ‘a week before the show.’ And I was like ‘Ok, so you broke it off.’ He said ‘yes.’ He told me it was nothing. It was hard to hear but I tried to let that go,” Brown explained during the finale.
She continued: “Then a few weeks later I get news that there was a People Magazine article that was out and I start reading it and it was not the same story that I was told. The article said that he didn’t really end the relationship before he came here. The extent of that and what was withheld from me after I’ve already said ‘yes’ is not ok.”
Hannah Brown is moving on to ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Since splitting ways, both Brown and Wyatt have spoken of moving on and just trying to do what makes them happy. For Wyatt, that means diving back into making and performing music. For Brown, that means competing on Dancing With The Stars.
Brown says she feels it’s her purpose to continue to be unapologetically herself on national TV.
“I think I was put into this position for some reason and I think people need to see people with this platform being really authentic and real and showing real emotions. And I don’t know how to be anything other than that. And so I’m OK with it,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Brown continued: “If I’m gonna… have these opportunities I might as well use them to share something in common with the rest of the world and people. And that’s just some days being happy, and some days being sad, and having all the in-between, and making people feel like that’s OK to be.”
How Jed Wyatt feels about Hannah Brown competing on ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Wyatt doesn’t typically tune into Dancing With The Stars and he doesn’t plan on starting this season.
“To be honest, I’ve never watched that show so I’m probably still not going to watch that show,” Wyatt told E! News.
However, Wyatt is confident in Brown’s success.
“But I support Hannah and I know she’ll do good,” he said. “She’s like a super fast learner and she dominates things very quickly, like, she picks up on stuff like this [snaps his finger], so I’m sure she’ll do good.”
