‘The Bachelorette’: Kaitlyn Bristowe on Being Grateful for and Wanting ‘to Throat Chop’ Jason Tartick While Isolating Together

Kaitlyn Bristowe got engaged to Shawn Booth on her season of The Bachelorette. The two split after three years together. As Bristowe was mourning the end of her engagement, she and Jason Tartick (from Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette) became friends. Their friendship turned romantic and, today, the two are happily together. They’re currently isolating amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Bristowe has always, famously, been open and honest with her fans about what’s going on in her life. It seems that the pandemic is no different for the open-book reality star.

Kaitlyn Bristowe’s sweet, honest post about isolating with Jason Tartick

On May 1, Bristowe posted a photo of her and Tartick to Instagram along with a caption about what it’s been like to isolate together. Mostly, she’s just really thankful for her sold partner.

“Jason Michael Tartick. The guy who will always look at life glass half full. The guy who is an early bird just to make sure a day isn’t wasted. He will bring me coffee in bed while he reads his morning paper. He is engaged in every conversation he has. He genuinely cares what people have to say. Unless you are a troll. He literally couldn’t care less about negative trolls. His energy is freakin electric, and he works his ass off building something that I think will change people’s lives. (Shameless plug for @restart_reset ). I don’t think people really know how hard he works on that. Not only does he work on himself but he will take the time to help me with all the financial aspects of my businesses,” she wrote.

Bristowe continued: “We have helped each other grow in so many ways. Through this weird time yes, of course I have wanted to throat chop him, and I’m sure there have been plenty of times where he’s wanted to run. But I know we both don’t know what we would do without one another and I just felt like sharing my gratitude for him today. I write in my journal every morning and night how grateful I am, but today I took it to the gram. (I can’t wait till he sees this because he gives the best hugs).”

Jason Tartick had the best response to Kaitlyn Bristowe’s post

Lots of fans, friends, and family came to the comments to gush about the Bachelor couple’s love and say they relate. But Tartick’s response was the sweetest of all.

“Wow, this was so unexpected but so damn sweet! Quarantine has been full of ups, downs, lefts and rights but through it all it’s put us in the best place we’ve ever been ❤️ Thank you & love you Kait!” he wrote.
