‘The Bachelorette’: Katie Thurston Loses It, Tells Some of Her Men to ‘Get the F Out’

Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette just took a turn. Though we are only on episode two, the men have already started to turn on each other. In last night’s episode, Thurston had had enough and went off on everyone there, proving that she is not here to play games.

Why did Katie Thurston yell at her men on ‘The Bachelorette’?

Last night’s episode started off sweet with a comical group date and a one-on-one date with Greg Grippo but soon the drama got started. During a group date, Cody Menk and Aaron Clancy made it very clear that they did not like one another.

“I know he really wants to become famous or get on the show for those reasons,” Clancy told Thurston of Menk. “The way he handles situations, to me, I find disturbing… It’s malicious. It’s just not energy I want around me. I wouldn’t say he’s necessarily a piece of s*it, but there’s always that concern there.”

When Thurston confronted Menk about the accusations, his answers were less than convincing.

“When I asked Cody about the whole chasing fame situation, he didn’t seem genuine,” Thurston told the cameras. “He didn’t even have a facial expression of surprised or offended. He almost looked rehearsed. If someone said that to me, my face would say everything. I would be devastated if that was a lie. That’s a red flag.”

So, she ended up sending him home.

“Ultimately, I don’t feel that we have trust and it’s so early to feel that way and that’s unfortunate,” Thurston told Menk. “So there’s really no point to drag this on any longer. Unfortunately, I think it’s best for you to go home tonight.”

The season is off to a rough start

After sending Menk home, Thurston thought she had rid the house of the bad apples only to have Karl Smith come to her and claim that not all of the men were being “100 percent transparent.”

At this point, Thurston had had enough and went to confront all of the men competing for her heart.

“I’m honestly shaking right now,” she said. “I made my intentions very clear about why I’m here. And tonight, a bomb was dropped on me about multiple people still here for the wrong f**king reason. I don’t know how clear I can be about my intentions and my time, but if you are not here for me, if you are not here for an engagement, then get the f**k out.

“I don’t know who is here for the wrong reason, but from what I’ve been told, there are multiple people I should be looking out for,” she continued. “For some of you this might be a platform, but I’m not here to waste my time.”

When it came out that Smith had been the one to accuse the men of not being genuine, they turned on him.

“[This is] the f**king stupidest s**t,” Clancy said to Smith. “There was nothing there. There were no grounds. That was the dumbest thing you could’ve possibly done.”
