‘The Bachelorette’: Luke S. Reveals What Hannah Brown Did That Made Him Quit the Show
Luke S. and Luke P. had a showdown on The Bachelorette, and Hannah Brown was caught in the middle. Luke Stone ended up quitting the show and Luke Parker stayed.
Why did he leave? Here is everything to know about what fans didn’t see.
The Lukes got into an argument after getting physical
The drama started when the men were playing rugby on a group date. Parker and Stone had some sort of physical altercation that wasn’t shown. They also had very different stories of what happened.
“Today, I don’t know if you know this, but Luke S. and I had an encounter on the field,” Parker told Hannah Brown. “I had the ball, I stiff-armed the ground, but you know, he started cussing me out and started clenching his fits and started coming at me, started to swing at me. To hit me in the face. And I didn’t know what to do and I picked him up and I put him on his back. I’m doing my best after the last thing, the conversation we had about all of this, I’ve been really trying hard.”
Stone, on the other hand, claimed Parker was getting too rough and when he approached him about it Parker got a “glazed look in his eye.” Stone said Parker picked him up and threw him down on the ground so hard it knocked the wind out of him. Brown didn’t seem to know who to believe.
Brown admitted it was hard to watch the drama back
The reality star got to watch what happened between the men in the new episodes. She said it was hard to watch.
“It’s really hard sometimes to watch back the show, because especially in that instance, there are certain things that I don’t get to see, and I’m not privy to see,” she revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “I mean, I only get the conversation that I have with each of the guys, and so it is sometimes difficult to see, ‘Oh, so that’s actually what happened.’”
Stone decided to leave before the rose ceremony in the end. But why did he give up?
Stone said Brown didn’t trust him
Fans watched Stone warn Brown about Parker, but they didn’t hear his reason for leaving. He is now opening up about it.
“A lot of people seem to think that it stems from the whole Luke P. situation, which it does — that was a catalyst,” he admitted on Strahan & Sara. “I think for me, that night was long, it was hard and I tried my best to sort of communicate with Hannah and figure out where her head was at. To me, being there, I felt like she didn’t trust me.”
He said ultimately his decision came down to lack of trust. “That was enough for me to leave because trust is the basis of every relationship,” the former contestant revealed. “Without trust you can’t have a relationship. When I felt like I had lost that, that was when I felt like I needed to leave.”
Brown is still moving forward trying to figure out why the rest of the house doesn’t like Parker. Only time will tell if he’ll be the last man standing in the end.
