‘The Bachelorette’: The Internet’s Best Memes About Luke P

Bachelor Nation, hold on to your hats. Tonight, we will finally get to experience our first Luke P. free episode of The Bachelorette. Though we’ve waited all season for Hannah Brown to come to her senses and send him home, this is certainly a case of better late than never. Now, if she would just get rid of Jed, we’ll be over the moon, because if we have to hear “I’ll be your Mr. Right, Girl…” one more time we will officially lose our minds. But, we digress. One thing we can say about Luke P. is that he made for an entertaining season of The Bachelorette. In celebration of Luke P.’s completed tenure on the show, let’s take a look at the Internet’s best memes about him.

Slut-shaming Brown about the fantasy suites

By now we know that the straw that broke Alabama Hannah’s back was when Luke P. decided to slut-shame her ahead of his potential fantasy suite date. Luke P. went out of his way to tell the bachelorette that if she went against her faith and slept with another guy, he would be so upset he would leave. The meme perfectly encapsulates the lecturing tone that Luke P. took with Brown when he told her of his expectations.

The 5’8 villain

Who could forget the comment about Luke P. being a 5’8 villain? Perhaps his stature is one of the reasons he had so many issues with the other bachelorette contestants in the house. We’ve all experienced moments when people try to overcompensate for their size by talking a big game. As one fan brilliantly pointed out “Jojo Siwa is taller than Luke P. and that’s all I have to say on the matter.”

Playing the victim

One of the things that irks us most about Luke P.’s time on The Bachelorette is how shocked he got when someone called him out on some of his most offensive behavior. He always acted so surprised after saying and doing the most egregious things, often taking the time to paint himself as the victim. What better conveys this than the surprised Pikachu meme?

Bachelor Nation is tired

Week after week, Bachelor Nation waited patiently for the bachelorette to send Luke P. home. But we after week, fans of the show got faked out and it seemed that he found a way to worm himself back into Brown’s heart. Even after she refused to give him a one-on-one date rose and even sent him home, he still found his way back into the competition. Eventually, fans ended up just being annoyed with his constant presence. Luckily, he seems to be gone for good this time.

Veiled threats

Finally, our piece de resistance. The meme to end all memes. We all remember how Luke P. took Brown to his hometown and his church group was singing his praises. While it may be true that Luke P. was a perfect angel to everyone at his church, it doesn’t take away from how incredibly hilarious we find this meme to be. Because anyone who can cause that much drama with almost every other contestant on the show, including the bachelorette, clearly can’t be as nice the church group claims he is.

The Finale

Season 15 of The Bachelorette certainly has been an entertaining one to watch. We can only hope that Brown picks someone who is capable of giving her the fierce love she’s so desperately craving. We’ll have to tune in tonight and tomorrow to see how it all goes down.
