Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor is winding down so fans are wondering who will be the star of The Bachelorette Season 15? A rumor was started that Khloe Kardashian might be the star and now people are responding including Chris Harrison. What does he have to say about it? Here is everything you need to know.

Mike Fleiss tweeted that Khloe Kardashian was in talks to do The Bachelorette

The whole rumor was started by the show’s producer, Mike Fleiss. He tweeted, “@khloekardashian is very much in contention… Stay tuned! #TheBachelorette.” He also tweeted, “Any decision regarding @khloekardashian as the new #TheBachelorette will need to be approved by my dear friend @KrisJenner …”

This got a lot of fans talking since it would not only break the show’s tradition of casting someone from The Bachelor, but Kardashian recently broke up with Tristan Thompson after he was reportedly caught making out with Jordyn Woods.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian denied this rumor

It didn’t take long for the family to respond to this on Twitter themselves. Kim Kardashian first tweeted, “Fake f*cking news big time!!!!” Fleiss responded with, “How would @KimKardashian know??? This is between me and @KrisJenner — and most importantly @khloekardashian !!!”

That was a bold move to make for the producer considering the reality star could just check with her mother…which she did. She responded by posting a text exchange with Jenner who simply wrote “no lol” to the rumor. Khloe Kardashian then texted “Ewwww I mean put some respeck on my name.”

Finally, Khloe Kardashian jumped on Twitter and wrote “I’m not f*cking clickbait right now. Stop or you will be hearing from my lawyers. How insensitive!!”

So what does Chris Harrison have to say about the producer claiming Khloe Kardashian was ever up for the starring position?

Chris Harrison said the rumor was just about having fun

It sounds like the host confirmed that there was nothing to Fleiss’ tweets. He addressed the rumor when asked who would be the next bachelorette.

No, it’s not breaking news. It’s not Khlo Kardashian,” Harrison told Entertainment Tonight. “But I think everyone had a little fun with [the speculation] because obviously Khloe apparently went through a big breakup, I don’t know if you heard.”

He continued, “Kris [Jenner] is a dear friend of ours and a friend of mine and a part of Bachelor Nation, and there’s a lot to it.” The host still thinks it wouldn’t be a bad choice to pick the reality star to do the show.

“It probably wouldn’t be the worst show. There’s some compelling arguments to be made there, but no, [she won’t be on the show],” he said.

One thing that is happening is that there are talks of who will be leading the next season of the show. Harrison revealed that he has been campaigning for his favorite.

“I’m fighting for my favorites, Mike Fleiss, Rob Mills, the producers, the network, everyone’s got their favorites, and so we are all just battling, and we battle just like you,” he said. “So, we have a little bit of embarrassment of riches. There’s some really strong, independent, amazing women that we can choose from.”

Fans probably won’t know who will take on the role until After the Final Rose, but one thing is certain. Khloe Kardashian won’t be on the show.
