‘The Bachelorette’: Tayshia Adams’ New Promo Has Fans ‘Still Salty’ That She Chose Blake Over Joe
The Bachelorette lead Tayshia Adams sent home fan-favorite Joe Park but gave a rose to Blake Moynes. Fans were devastated to see the 36-year-old anesthesiologist from New York head home. Now, Bachelor Nation is “still salty” after watching the antics the 29-year-old Wildlife Manager from Canada gets into this week on The Bachelorette.
‘The Bachelorette’ new promo with Tayshia Adams is not what fans were hoping for
In the latest trailer for the Dec. 1, 2020 episode, The Bachelorette Season 16 lead Tayshia Adams instructs the men on the group date that they will show off their creative side. However, the contestants have to create something out of clay while blindfolded.
“Create something that represents your time with Tayshia,” guest Natalia tells the group.
Some of the men create cheesy hearts and infinity symbols, which Adams finds sweet. However, when Blake Moynes’ creation comes on the screen, a black box is hiding it.
“It is exactly what you think it is,” Blake says about his clay sculpture.
The other contestants laugh and cover their faces after seeing what fans guess is a penis-shaped piece of artwork.
Bachelor Nation is not happy that Blake is still on the show, but Adams sent Joe home
“Why Blake is still there, and Joe is not is truly a mystery for the ages,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
Other fans agree that seeing Blake’s ridiculous creation reminded them about how much they miss the anesthesiologist.
“Yes, I’m still pretty salty,” another viewer wrote. “[Blake] should’ve left right after Clare did.”
One fan wants to know if he made the clay figure to get more TV time.
“I guess Blake realizes he’s getting the boot soon, so he’s doing as much as he possibly can to get screen time,” the fan added. “I’m ready for him to go.”
‘The Bachelorette’ fans were heartbroken when Joe left
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Joe Park revealed that he never watched a single episode of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette before joining the show. He treated the entire experience as real life, not “reality TV.” Fans loved his witty comments and the way he showed his heart. Many called for Joe to become the next Bachelor after his departure.
“I love that Joe is the most normal person we’ve seen on the show in a long time,” one fan wrote. “I mean, yeah, he’s handsome and intelligent, but he’s clearly just a regular guy—isn’t attention-seeking and never puts on a front.”
Fans are hoping that Tayshia sends home Blake this week on The Bachelorette after his sad addition to the clay sculpture contest.
