‘The Bachelorette’: The Real Reason Hannah Is So Frustrated With Her Contestants

The first half of last night’s episode of The Bachelorette was action-packed. Poor Hannah Brown went into the cocktail party looking beautiful and in a great mood. She wanted to get to a deeper level with her remaining contestants. She was ready to listen and open her heart and share her own story in return.

But early into the night, when she was sharing a private moment with Garrett, the golf pro turned the conversation to Luke P. He asked Hannah if Luke P. had brought up any of the other men during their one-on-one in Scotland.

After her conversation with Garrett, and after a bit of eavesdropping, Hannah walked into the room where all the other men were talking to Luke P. about his one-on-one with Hannah and whether or not he brought up other contestants. She tried to set the record straight.

Hannah’s speech to the guys

“Stop. I’m so frustrated about there always being fights in the house, and it’s pissing me off. I don’t know what’s going on but it’s getting really frustrating. Just like, tell me exactly what was happening and I will answer any question about what he said to me and then you can tell me if that’s true or not and then we can all talk about it. ‘Cause it’s affecting everything at this point,” she said.

The men talked in circles about what they’d been talking in circles about, how Garrett had asked Luke P. to not bring up anyone’s name when he was with Hannah and how he did anyway.

Then, after cutting off Luke P. with an incredibly boss zip-it hand motion, Hannah announced: “I want to continue on with the night but I’m like frustrated as f***. So the thing I want to say to you all is: stay in your freaking lane, because I’m tired of hearing screaming.”

She left the room to chat with a producer, get another drink, and continue eavesdropping. The conversation carried on after she left. She slammed the rest of her champagne and went back in for round two.

She told Luke P. that he needed to own up to his flaws and she told the other men to stop obsessing over Luke P.

“I can figure that out for myself, and focus on me and know that I’m a grown ass woman and I can decide if I want to spend my time figuring all this out or if I don’t,” she said.

Finally, when she left the room, the good ones spoke up. Peter the Pilot talked about how it was awful to see Hannah like this and Tyler C. told everyone that they had messed up.

Why is Hannah so frustrated?

Because the men are focusing on Luke P. more than they’re focusing on her. With the amount of attention the men are giving Luke P., you’d think he was The Bachelorette.

Hannah came into last night’s cocktail party wanting to form deep connections with her contestants but everyone seemed to be more interested in fighting about Luke P.

By the looks of the preview, the Luke P. drama isn’t over by any means, not by a long shot. We’ll have wait and see if everyone else can manage to stay in their lanes.
